What a Fantastic Vein Doctor!
I can't recommend Dr. Woloson and her team highly enough! After years of suffering from varicose veins and leg cramps at night, I finally decided to seek treatment, and the results have been life-changing. From the very first appointment, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. Kayla, at the front desk, was especially sweet and knowledgeable. She patiently answered a number of questions I had.The team also took the time to explain the process thoroughly and shared the exact costs I would be responsible for, which I greatly appreciated. Dr. Woloson’s expertise and experience, evident from her 20 years in this field, made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Her care and precision are unmatched, and I am thrilled to say I am symptom free and I no longer suffer from varicose veins. If you're looking for top-notch vein care and outstanding results, this is the place to go!

I wish I could give ZERO stars
I have tried to address this with the office personally before writing a review and the office manager Ashley has been unresponsive. Reading other reviews on here, I see this is not uncommon. Find another doctor! I had the WORST experience with this practice. As another reviewer mentioned, Dr Woloson has horrible bedside manner--she treated me terribly. The gaslighting and condescension was on full display. And she made some comments about other personal health issues I was going through that were very inappropriate. I feel I was upsold treatment that did not even work. I have been left worse than when I went to them. I have since had a second opinion and that doctor and my primary physician both agree that my legs are much worse after my treatments with Dr. Woloson and her staff. Sadly, I am out more money than I was initially quoted and my confidence has been shattered as I am left with permanently swollen and discolored legs. Thanks, Dr Woloson!

One of the worst healthcare experiences I've had
If I could give fewer than one star, I would. Dr. Woloson has terrible beside manner and you feel like cattle being quickly herded in and out. She was annoyed with any follow up questions or calls and speaks to you in a condescending tone when you ask for more specific answers. Additionally, I had surgery on both legs and BOTH were 'unsuccessful' in removing the veins. There were a multitude of follow ups, check ups, ultrasounds, etc. and in the end neither leg was completely successful in removing the veins discussed. She then suggested more ultrasounds and procedures, which I quickly declined. Her office manager, Ashley, is one of the most unpleasant, unhelpful and unhappy people I've ever encountered. She speaks to patients like they are five years old and shames them for having to move appointments, etc. She was unwilling to be flexible with scheduling and I dreaded every time I had to deal with her. STAY AWAY.

Great experience with laser vein removal
I was looking for a vascular surgeon. I visited several doctors, trying to find the right one, then I got a referral to Dr. Woloson. I liked the office staff. She was very informative about the procedure. I also was given reading material and time to think about the procedure. The procedure itself was quick, and exactly as they described. I liked that Dr. Woloson was very straightforward. I was never late for my appointment, and they were always on time as well to start my appointment. I would refer Dr. Woloson to anyone else looking for laser vein removal. Mine were very painful before and after the procedure, everything feels great again.

Appointments are very rushed and not thorough by any means. The ultrasound tech only scanned my legs while I was laying down and said I had three vericose veins. When I went to another provider they found five! Dr. Woloson has very poor beside manner and just wants to get you in and out as fast as possible and disregards any concerns you may have. Stear clear of this practice, you won't regret it.

I was misinformed that the dr was in network at my insurance, when she was not. Ended up paying a huge amount for services.

Rude staff, inflated prices, condescending dr.
The front desk manager was rude, surly & argumentative. I only proceeded on to see Dr. Woloson because my PCP recommended her. What a regrettable choice! The dr. rattled off my treatment options like she was reading off a dossier. She didn’t actually listen to or answer my questions & concerns. The ultrasound tech took less time performing the ultrasounds on both of my legs than the hospital tech I had seen previously spent on just one of my legs. It almost seemed like he was doing the ultrasounds “just for show”. As if the insulting & dismissive interactions with the front desk person, the tech. & the dr. weren’t bad enough, the quoted cost of the treatment was more than double what I had been led to believe! I will convey this information to my PCP in the hopes that this dr. is no longer on her recommendations list. Really, save yourself the stress & money & stay far away from this practice.

Do not bother, you'll meet her and she'll be great but then you'll get calls asking to reschedule appointments because the doctor has an emergency. Waste of our time and money. Left a VM for the office manager when this happened the 2nd time never got a call back but when it happened the 3rd time and I asked for the doctor to call back, the office manager tried to call. The doctor stated that she's a mom and needed to leave, unfortunately the patients appointments are not important.

if you are suffering from varicose veins, as I am/was, and are anxious or reluctant to undergo treatment for this painful condition, I can honestly say now I wish I hadn't waited so long! I just finished treatment on six veins in both legs (EVLT) . I'm so happy to have found Dr. Susan Woloson and her staff at Northwest Vascular and Vein Specialists in Arlington Heights they are the best and I have no more burning, heaviness in my legs!

I have had continued pain for the year since the 5 EVLT procedures performed by Dr. Woloson. Her tech did an ultrasound and told me there was quite a bit of inflammation, so it's no surprise. Dr. Woloson came in the room and said based on the ultrasound, there's no explanation for the pain and I should go see a pain doctor.
