She saved and restored my mother's vision
My mother who has passed away at 79 had very severe diabetes and cancer. However I wanted to pay tribute to this doctor who left no stone unturned to give my mother a very good quality of life. Nothing was more important to my mom that reading. At the age of 70 her vision was getting dimmer and dimmer until she was suddenly in darkness. I insisted she go to see Dr. Tidow again who had helped her with diabetic retinopathy in my Mom's 60s. Dr Tidow diagnosed a very dense brunesian cataracts. After a difficult surgery my mother's vision was not only restored but she saw better than she had for over a decade. My mom spent the last 8 years of her life able to read and enjoy her retirement. Dr. Tidow is an amazing surgeon and we are very grateful for the skilled surgery she did for our mom.
