I have been seeing Dr. Wolver for over 3 yrs as a patient for weight loss issues. She is the BEST. Her program at VCU is the only program that has resulted in weight loss and it is due to her support. With the COVID 19 situation, I have been extremely frustrated since I have been unable to do my usual form of exercise. After my telehealth visit with her, she got me back on track. She understands her patients' personalities and what motivates them. She knows exactly what to say to make you "feel better". She has a grasp of the behavioral part of weight loss since she has done it herself. Just love her and wish I could find an internist like her. She says it like it is and does not use meds such as statins unnecessarily. Great philosophy.
