Dr. Susan Thomas, MD

I have seen Dr. Thomas for many years and highly recommend her. I have had in person visits and video visits and can truly say she cares about her patients. I have experienced Dr.s that try to rush you out but she takes the time to LISTEN to your concerns. She is very good at documenting everything in your record. Every Dr. with Kaiser dosen't take the time to give us the quality care that we deserve but she does. Thank You for the care you show your patients.

Dr Thomas knows I am not a great patient, and have lacked in follow up to cancer treatment from 12 years ago. I had an appointment today with her for a totally unrelated issue, as she is my pcp. Knowing my history and the fact I wouldnt follow up with a specialist she took it upon herself to order xtra labs, to include tumor markers. I got results back the same night. Blood work is ok, but was pleasantly pleased to see no xtra tests I didnt expect, and the good results. Not a big Kaiser fan, but Dr. Thomas is a real down to earth, no bull, and ethical doctor. Thank You.

When I first visited Dr. Thomas, I was nervous and explained my previous doctor said I was tired because I'm getting older, and my stomach problems were just "in my head". I am grateful to have Dr. Thomas as my doctor because she listens to my concerns without making me feel rushed and she doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering her. I am able to relax and trust that I am in good hands with her. Having trust is very important me. She has helped me find the root of my problems and now we are working on getting my health back in order! I also appreciate how Dr. Thomas explains things and she makes sure I understand. She takes the time to ask if I have any other questions or concerns before ending our visit. It feels good to end a visit knowing you're in good care!!! When she moved to a facility further away, I kept her as a doctor, and I would recommend her if anyone in my family or friends were looking for a great doctor!

Dr. Thomas is an excellent doctor she listens to you and takes into consideration what you are saying. She is not the kind of doctor that is ready to write you a prescription because you tell her of a condition you might be experiencing. I was always coughing when every I would be eating. I told her I wanted a referral for my throat and an allergist she said to me why should I do that? Then I said, I feel I need to go to them because of my coughing. Then she said let's to do some bloodwork before I give you a referral. We did the blood work and I found that I was allergic to several foods and once I stopped eating them I stopped coughing. I like to thank Dr. Susan Thomas for her kindness and listening to me.

Dr.Thomas is a great doctor I love her interactions with me she will tell you everything you need to know about your condition she’s very kind I love her attitude I’m so blessed to have her as my doctor and if I’m not doing what I supposed to be doing she will get on me about it now that’s a doctor that shows she cares about my well being and she really make sure she treats the condition she put all her effort into fixing the problem so thank you Dr.Susan Thomas for caring about me

Excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable. She listens attentively and makes sound diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone needing a physician who is professional with a great bedside manner. My daughter goes to her now & feels the same way. She is new at Kaiser ,but has been examined by others, but loves Dr. Thomas as well.

Dr. Thomas is a Great Doctor who care for her patient total health (including sex, history, race and demographics). She is extremely thorough and caring.

If I could leave no stars I would. But I guess since shes referred me to ALMOST every specialist there is she can get a little 1 star. She does not LISTEN, TRULY LISTEN, to the problems and issues a patient may have. I feel I have been extremely judged & discriminated against and treated unfairly and poorly due to the judgement and discrimination, leading to lack of care for my SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES. Its hard to explain something when you have to beg her just to do a simple physical EXAM! -0

Dr. Thomas is a wonderful Doctor. She always listens to me with such caring. I feel that I am in the best of hands when I am with her. She has so much experience especially because she use to work at Grady Hospital. One of the best Trauma Hospitals in the country. Dr. Thomas is a true professional and I would recommend her to anyone .
