Lacks compassion
I found Dr. Siegel to be eager to write prescriptions to solve my problems, but not to delve into their source. She was condescending on several occasions after I shared personal information. On every visit, I was kept waiting. Not 5 or 10 minutes, but 15-20+ minutes. The one time I was late (due to an accident) she refused to see me, even though 30 minutes still remained in my appointment slot.

Dr. Seigel is by far the most knowledgeable, understanding, honest, and kind psychiatrist I have ever had. She is extremely intellegent and i trust her. I was actually surprised to see some negative reviews. I prefer to judge for myself, and I am so happy that I did!!

Saw her 5 years ago for a medication evaluation for depression/social anxiety. Made a humiliating comment to me during intake that has always stayed with me. I actually returned one more time (to try and not let that comment win), but I decided I was just too uncomfortable after the way she treated me the first time and I never went back. Interestingly, the office never called to see how I was (because I vanished.) I guess I could have killed myself and they would never have known.
