Dr. Susan Lechtenstein, DO

Dr. Lechtenstein is officious, condescending and more eager to talk at you than with you. Her nurse, Heidi, lies about conversations and accused me of yelling at her, as did Dr. Lechtenstein. Nothing could be further than the truth. I am a respectful patient and simply want to be seen and heard. They are very disrespectful. Don't go.

she is definitely a great doctor I would recommend Dr. L to anybody that needs a doctor WHO cares about their patients' health. My visits are always great Dr. L goes down the list to make sure I'm in good health

She was recommended to me by multiple people over the years. She takes her time and is very thorough. She diagnosed one problem that my prior primary PC said that I did not have. I can always get in to see the Nurses for minor problems in between appointments. I sent my husband to her and he has been very satisfied with the care. Medical bills are reasonable.

I believe Dr. Lechtenstein is a good doctor. I have been seeing her for well over a decade. She takes time with patients, listens to concerns and takes a wholistic approach. I give two stars because of the practice she works for. Dr. and Mrs. Steiner are incredibly rude people and that certainly reflects in their staff. Over the years I have seen this office become increasingly less professional. The front office staff is rude and uncaring. These individuals do not belong in customer service let alone healthcare. It is a shame Dr. L continues to stay in this horrible environment. I will not be going back.

I was expecting to have a nice consultation, having been referred by someone I have a lot of respect for. I saw this Dr Susan she was confrontational disrespectful and accusatory. She slandered my bariatric surgeon - stating that a lot of her patients that regain their weight after surgery were originally operated on by him. I told her that anybody can eat through their Bariatric Surgery: it is not the surgeons fault - she did not want to hear it. I also have extensive knowledge from a scholarly viewpoint regarding bariatric surgery nor did she want to hear any of that. And I felt like she was challenging every single healthcare decision I had made for the last 20 years - from cholesterol to pain - and I'm 72 so I have a lot of healthcare decisions in the last 20 years. Then when I pointed out to her that we both we'professionals' we should not be bickering she said 'I'm not gonna ask anymore questions' and conducted the cursory examination - I'm not going back.

Dr. Lechtenstein is so thorough, caring, and the definition of a true doctor. When she is with you, you have her full attention, offer options and suggestions, and she is always there to answer a question. I am selecting an insurance plan around her accepted insurers.

Dr Lechtenstein is very thorough and takes her time to give advice in all aspects of your health. Friendly, honest and caring. Very intelligent doctor and makes me feel very comfortable and informed. I highly recommend her, she is the absolute best primary care physician.

Brooke Laine, PA is among the best diagnostician and problem solver among the PAs and NPs who've treated me over the years. I trust her knowledge of nutrition far more than any naturopath or herbalist.

Lack care and concern

I would give her zero stars if possible. She is very very RUDE!!

DO NOT GO HERE. The two reasons I will never go to this office again: Heidi and Dr Steiners wife. Both are extremely rude and unprofessional. They have no concern for you as a person, you’re basically another payment to their office. They are healthcare professionals and yet treat you like trash. Horrible place.

I have been seeing Dr. Lechtenstein for several years now. I am not an easy patient. She is very caring and has given me a lot of really excellent life advice, in addition to providing appropriate care and referrals to excellent specialists as needed. As a woman, I appreciate her gentleness taking PAP smears. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Lechtenstein and her assistant Kim are amazing. Thoughtful, insightful, smart, patient, thorough and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Lechtenstein as a PCP and I am so thankful to have found her. However, the office staff are rude, impatient, and unhelpful on the phone. Most are mildly friendly in person, but their phone skills could use some serious coaching. I am forced to battle their hostile attitudes every time I call the office to ask a question or coordinate my care.

I felt that Dr. Lechtenstein listened to me was thorough and didn't rush me through the appointment. I did have to wait a bit in the waiting room but everyone was polite and recognised that I had waited. I was able to make an appointment as a new patient within 2 weeks which I wasn't able to do with my previous doctor.

"Dr. Susan" is superb in patient care, attitude, knowledge, patience and accessibility. She was able to diagnose a rare disorder (~10,000 Americans have it), even though it was baffling to other doctors. The knowledge is clearly exceptional... but so is her empathetic/caring manner and attention to detail. I recommend her as emphatically as possible!

Very caring Dr. Has even called my mom on several occasions to see how she was doing after hip surgery.
