Dr. Susan Kraft, MD

I am the only patient in medical history to have a baby pulled backwards through the birth canal. During the labor process the nurse said I was almost there, she could see his head crowning and he had dark hair. Then Dr Kraft walked in and said I needed an emergency C-Section. I was fine and so was the baby. Neither of us were under any kind of duress. Dr Kraft performed an unnecessary c-section during my delivery. She said she grabbed his face and head and pulled him backwards during the c-section. This caused significant tares in the cervix and resulted in me loosing over one third of all the blood in my body. Dr Kraft was stitching me up but I was already unconscious. She never noticed I was bleeding until the nurse told her there was a lot of blood on the floor. My new doctor is a Harvard teacher as well as an OBGYN. She says I am the only case like this. What was done to me was so heinous and cruel. I have had to suffer other surgeries and years of pain and difficulties.

Misinterpreted lab info and told me I had a horrible diagnosis that wasn’t true

Dr. Kraft is extremely patient, so sweet, and easy to talk to. She answers all my questions using language and examples I can understand. She is friendly and funny and makes me comfortable. I always look forward to seeing her. She genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr. Kraft saw me right away and helped me with my concern.

I waited 45 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor. When I told her why I was there for a follow-up she made me feel like my concern was ridiculous. When she examined me, she laughed out loud making me feel humiliated. This was a follow-up to the first and only other time I saw her and she kept me waiting over 35 minutes that first time forcing us to rush through my examination which necessitated this follow-up. My gut told me to go elsewhere. I should have listened. I will listen now.

She was rude, and judgemental.

I’ve seen Susan Kraft twice. She is comfortable to talk to, thorough and spent ample time talking with me about medication options.

This woman is atrocious. What OBGYN makes a woman feel inadequate for struggling during an appointment with anxiety? She was rude, dehumanizing, and made my wife feel about 2 inches tall. The woman has no compassion and should go back to the 50's where she obviously came from. If an exam is painful or challenging, asking questions like "Well how did you possibly do this before? Don't you have a husband? Aren't you intimate?" is DISGUSTING. Questions like that are obviously laced with subtext that says "you are wrong" "you are weird" "why aren't you normal" and that's not even to mention the sales pitch for an IUD that wasn't asked for, and unwelcome comments about weight and appearance. If I had it my way, this woman would never practice again. She failed to make her patient safe and secure in a private exam that was enormously anxiety producing. I hope I don't meet her on the street. Shame. On. Her.

Dr. Kraft was wonderful at my appointment. She really listened to me and addressed all of my concerns. She is a true health care provider.
