Dr. Susan Echterling, MD

During our visit to the ED this physician treated my family and I awfully. Extremely disrespectful during our visit, didn’t even bother to introduce herself to my husband or anyone in the room when presenting for the first time. Went on to refer to me as his “girlfriend” at her own discretion. Upon correcting her, she still refused to use the appropriate reference and attempted to shift the blame to my husband, the ill patient she was supposed to be caring for. She had no intentions on making us feel safe, like we were in good hands, or addressing our concerns. She barely communicated anything about what was happening, tests run, next steps. Her first concern upon entering the room was debating whether or not my husband should have been transported by EMS, which was due to him being short of breath and unable to drive himself (obvious need for emergency transport). She does not need to work in medicine, especially serving patients of diverse backgrounds. A disgusting human all around

I can't say enough about the care I received in the ER. She listened, she was understanding and caring. I was able to attend my daughter's graduation, thanks to the care I received.Thank you SO very much!
