Dr. Susan Cheng, MD

Dr Cheng was very attentive to my questions. She took plenty of time taking care to respond. I didn’t feel that she rushed at all. Her exam was complete. I’m very happy with her and am glad she was recommended to me by another doctor.

My partner had to go to urgent care the day after visiting Dr. Cheng because she was negligent and wouldn’t look at his swollen foot, instead assuming she knew what the problem was. She said it was lymphedema but it was actually an infection. She might have known if she took the time to look. Save yourself frustration and don’t make this your doctor.

Competent and shows interest in full medical status. Takes what time is needed. Highly efficient. Caring and kind and transparent. So glad I found Dr Cheng.

r. Cheng is alright, however her assistant Laura lacks communication skills and doesn’t get things done unless badgered. It took a week for her to send in my medication request form and she made a mistake on the form and uses the excuse of being very busy. This makes things really difficult so I would not recommend going here.

As an RN, I was impressed by Dr Cheng’s warmth and interest in my problems. As a senior, I appreciated her explanation of certain disease processes and newer treatments she knew I might not be aware of ; I’m retired for quite a while. I was also impressed by her staff’s efficiency-they are awesome !

My visit to Dr. Cheng was extremely frustrating since she listened very poorly to my health concerns and seemed to be very rushed to get me out of the office ASAP. She tried to convince me that recent symptoms I had, such as chest pain, abnormally high blood pressure, dizziness, and numbness and tingling throughout the right side of my body were due to overproduction of stomach acid even though I’ve had acid reflux in the past and I know this is not that. I had to press her to order further testing and blood work. Overall, my visit was extremely unpleasant and Dr. Cheng was unprofessional, dismissive, and did not appear to care about my concerns or do anything to treat my symptoms or look for a root cause. I left feeling more worried and confused.
