Best Doctor I have ever had
Just called for an appt to find that Dr. Brinkley has left Potomac Physicians. She is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. Did we have crazy long wait times? Yes. Did she care about me as a patient, my history and my welfare? Very much so! I may have to track her down and hope she is still practicing. Retired perhaps. She is a once in a lifetime doc and I am so lucky to have had her at the helm of my healthcare for many many years. Highly recommend.

Best doctor I’ve seen in decades! Brilliant, caring and thorough. Worth every minute you’ll wait — I promise!! (This location’s office staff leaves much to be desired, though.)

She is wonderful! She has long wait times but when you get with her, she does not rush at all. So to me, she is worth the wait. The front desk staff, however, is awful. They do not deliver accurate messages to her. They are not pleasant when one comes in and they are like robots doing a job. They have been downright rude to clients. Although the office manager will admit the staff and has made mistakes, he has been useless for managing poor behavior of the front desk staff.

If you want a dr who cares, who will take the time to listen, and is so smart it is scary, you want Dr. Susan Brinkley. She will keep you waiting but that is because when you see her, you will have your time with her. It hurts me that she is in a bad building, and has poor staff supporting her (except Sharon, who is great) but that is the place. That is not HER. Have known her since she was a kid. Have followed her everywhere since she began practicing medicine. She has taken care of me and mine better than anyone ever could. BEST DR EVER

The best bed side manners , Act cares about your well being . If u cant wait 1hr , Goe elsewhere , That falls on life bridge. The company who owns the building . The staff has seen change fair to good .. 100% As far as a Solid no bs straight shooter doctor ..Not a 5min in and out doc .She has soul, passion, And humanity towards all .. 8 years Dr Brinkley, Goes above and beyond. There is delays in your appt time , That falls not on staff , Falls on life bridge. The company is horrific .

My experience with Dr. Brinkley has been outstanding! I have been seeing her for years, several times a year and never have been disappointed in her advice or treatment. I see that in this forum, there are many patients who criticize about having to wait to see her. This can be true. But the way I see it, she is spending the time she feels you need to make a good and sound medical plan or solve the issue. I find it more disconcerting when a physician looks at their watch and says “Make another appointment I have other patients waiting. That’s after only 15 or 20 minutes. Dr. Brinkley treats everybody more than fairly with a polite professional willing to help others. If you have a condition that takes more than 15 or 20 minutes, she is going to give it to you on that appointment. I say, what an exceptional quality and bargain to boot. This action proves that Dr. Brinkley cares about everyone that comes in to see her. She is the real thing. I personally feel fortunate

Dr. Brinkley is a brilliant doctor who is very thorough and attentive whenever I see her. I was very ill almost 20 years ago ... a life threatening situation ... and she took the steps to get me the care that saved my life ... steps that 3 other physicians failed to take. The facility, however, is not so easy to work with. If I have to call in a prescription I may or may not get it filled within a week. I've waited until 6:00 for a 1:30 appointment.

Went for a yearly physical as required by insurance. Waited in the waiting room for over an hour, then was taken to an exam room. Waited an additional half hour. A few weeks later, the bill arrived for what should have been covered by insurance by law. The doctor charged me $80 for answering 2 questions on her new patient form. 1. Do you have a drinking problem? Answer NO, 2. Are you depressed? Answer NO. For these 2 things, and no discussion with the doctor I was charged $80.

I had a very poor experience with this doctor. I saw her 4 times, each time waiting almost 2 hours before seeing her. She is not compassionate for what a person is experiencing, and does not listen to the patient's concerns. The office staff is not friendly, the space itself is dirty, cluttered & has an odd smell. I have since moved to a different practice. Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor.

Dr Brinkley: she should not be a Doctor while she is good st her advice she is bad bad bad at timeline and bedside manner. She will set an appointment for 1:00 pm and by 2:00 pm she had her nurse do vitals to tell you it might be another 1-2 hrs wait. WHAT? My appt. was 1:00 huh now your say 3-4 pm she can see me. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! I don't care how much time she gives a patient! If I showed up at 4:00 for a 1:90 appt. I'm sure they'd send me away. How rude can she be? RUDE RUDE RUDE

I actually like Dr Brinkley, but her lack of professionalism to be on time to work is horrible!! And then waiting for 3 hours to be seen! My time is not less valuable than hers. I would never recommend anyone I know to see her. And proof that "Tyrone Jones" is an actual person/administrator would be great! 5 months to get records transferred after 5 request (written, faxed and mailed) is RIDICULOUS!!! Stay away from this practice!!!
