Dr Ratnam
I have been a patient of Dr. Ratnam at the Texas Oncology Center in McAllen for several years now. I go there for a minor procedure. Every time I see him, he makes me feel very comfortable and assured about my health situation. His professional mannerisms are second to none. I would recommend him to anyone needing his level of care.

What stood out is that il in good health nothing is abnormal. What I do is not to miss time from work so I schedule my results appt. At my lunch hour but this day I got a phone call and was asked if I wanted to com now. Before lunch there was opening to see the doctor. So I took it but took it and was not satisfied it took longer in the waiting room to be attended by the doctor and his time was quick everything was good. But I waited in that room longer than expected and was told to come earlier.

Every time I have gone from my chemo to my radiations, to my PET and CT scans, it’s been a very good experience. The nurses in the chemo rooms are very educated in what they do and are very kind to explain what treatments we are getting and answer our questions without being bothered. The men in the trailer where we get our scans are so smart and friendly and also answered my questions without being bothered. The CT section was also a very good experience, I was so so scared at first but everyone there made me feel comfortable and not only as another person with cancer but they are compassionate and help me feel better. Dr. Ratnam is so calm and sits there and is answering my questions and not in a rush to get m out. When he told me I had cancer he never gave me false hope but he gave me hope.
