Avoid poor injection doctor. Low experience.
I arrived with low back pains, sciatica going into bone in my upper right hip. His June joint injection was not explained and it doubled my pains. His July numbing injection was not explained and it doubled my pains. Two years of injections later and he still failed to stop my pains. I am a bleeder and when we met i told him so and this requires injections by a more than 20 year injection doctor. I learned this current year 2024 He had 15 years but told me he almost has 20 years experience when we met but he promised not to cause a bleed with his injections which is why i kept returning. He did not cause a bleed, he kept his word. However, on July 2024 he pushed for a RFA injection to end my pains. He would not tell me what to expect . My research found a person with a bleeding issue cannot have a RFA injection as it can end me. My hematologists confirmed this and our relation ended.

Highly recommended
I have been experiencing Sciatic pain. I received a referral for a from my doctor - March, 2023 - to Dr. Chand for an L5-S1 injection. I highly recommend him!The office was very responsive, the procedure was efficient, painless, and the Dr verbally walked me through what would happen next during the procedure. It was very successful. The pain returned in December. I contacted Dr Chand’s office. They scheduled me right away and I received a second injection, again, very successful. The follow up visit was thorough and very helpful regarding future steps if needed.

Excellent care. Highly recommend.
Had two injections in the past two years for different issues with my spinal stenosis.The first injection resolved my first issue and it remains resolved at a zero pain level after more than a year.The second injection, for a different issue, was given two weeks ago and the pain level was at zero within a few minutes after leaving the office.Everyone at Cornell Pain Clinic is friendly, professional, understanding, and a pleasure to know and work with. I highly recommend them.

esi injections needed
Damaged discs L3,4,5, sciatica going into bone causing traveling pains low back to right hip, down leg to foot and numb toes, and groin to right hip pains. I was a mess, in intense pains, slept 0-3 hours nightly...I met with Dr Craig Anderson, Dr Kirsten Brusky, Dr Poly Chen, had bad phone call with Sandy Christiansen MD and finally met Dr Suresh Chand. Dr Chand was able to give me the injections i need to cure me. In the past 42 months i have been in pains for 40 months. None of the other doctors were able to.

Dr. Chand has been instrumental in helping me with a long-term, chronic, treatment resistant issue I've struggled with for most of my life. I find him easy to work with, innovative, and up-to-date in his knowledge of treatment options. His office is a pleasant place to be, his office staff are friendly and helpful, and his office location is -- for me at least -- very convenient. I'm very glad I found him.

Sciatica pain relief
I developed severe sciatica pain over the last couple of months and ended up talking to multiple doctors and providers who basically gave me pain killers which didn't really help for more than a few hours, my family care doctor referred me to Dr. Suresh who was very personable and used spine models to explain to me what was going on, he recommended we do an epidural targeted by x-ray to the exact position that my troubles were coming from. Thank you, Doctor, for giving me my life back, I literally could not sleep, sit or walk without excruciating pain which was keeping me from having any sort of quality life. 7 days after the shoer but somewhat painful outpatient procedure my pain went away and has been on a zero level ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Suresh and his team if you are having this type of nerve problem that is taking away from your quality of life.

Back pain
I had a back injury 1968. I was referred via the Veterans administration. Dr. Chan got to the bottom of what was causing the pain. a couple of procedures were done which eliminated 90% of my pain without major surgery. I definitely recommend his services. Office staff and back office staff are well trained and and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Chand

Dr Chand was extremely helpful. I have had issues with depression and anxiety for most of my life and finally decided to seek help with medications. I have responded well to them and the effects have honestly been life changing! I am so much better now. I definetely recommend Dr Chand!

wonderful doctor. He made my back pain go away.
I had being suffering from lower back pain for 2 years. Lumbar arthritis. we tried everything epidurals,heavy pain killers...... the pain still persisted and affected severely my quality of life. A procedure called Radio Frequency Ablation stopped the pain. Dr Chand is very persistent in resolving patient issues. I have my life back. Thank you Dr Chand.

My treatment for PTSD with Dr. Chand was amazing. The diffrence was immediate relief after the second shot. I stopped taking panic attack meds and my body was no longer over reacting to stress. The fight or flight reaction reduced by 90%. I love this treatment and the professionalism and compassion of Dr Chand and his staff.

Dr. Chand and the staff at Cornell Pain Clinic are wonderful and very professional. All of my questions and concerns were answered. Making an appointment was easy. The clinic is easy to find, park, get inside, and feel clean and comfortable. Dr. Chand and the staff made me feel welcome and listened to my specific pain concerns. I felt they provided a very thorough diagnosis with a very good treatment plan. I have severe neck arthritis and consume way too much OTC meds. This has always concerned me for long term affects on my digestive system. With Dr. Chand’s specific pain management treatment, I have become much less dependent on pain meds, and can go through a normal day much more comfortably than before the treatment. I would often consume 6-10 OTC pain meds within a 12 hour period due to my neck pain. Now, I have noticed my need for that amount has drastically subsided, even on a busy work day. Thanks to Dr. Chand and staff, I am significantly more comfortable.

Dr. Chand has been a great help managing both PTSD/depression and chronic pain related to Ehlers Danlos syndrome. I originally went to him for a Stellate Ganglion Block to relieve crippling PTSD symptoms and received nearly instant relief for it. He has continued to help me manage that and my chronic pain through non-opioid meds and even found a way to assist me with my weight loss goals, which have always been complicated by pain and dislocations.
