he was quick to assess a situation of poor vision I had seen many MDs for without clarityHe told me 1-2-3 these are what you need to do and in that order. , DO not worry about your cataracts, now can waitand he was absolutely right (I had been told that I must get my cataracts operated immediately ) and they turned out to be not the primary reason for my poor vision . His sequence set my course straight for the next 2 years . He is a great clinician

He is competent. Care was fine except he keeps you waiting for hours and his back office is beyond bad. Some Phone calls aren’t returned for days. Worst back office at NW.

Dr. Basti was beyond unprofessional. Waited 2 hours in his waiting room for him to barely want to see me. He spent a maximum of two minutes in which he half-added looked in my eye and said there was nothing in it. Didn’t stay to listen to my questions or concerns and was walking out as I was talking. Very rude. His physician assistant was just as lazy and uncaring they were undetermined in helping me get to the root cause of my pain/ problem. Very disappointing .

Went to him for cataract surgery ,I wasn’t Positive with his bed side manners ! Very little about the surgery itself !! Gave me exams gave me dates !! I made decision I wanted mono vision , one eye distance my right eye left for reading ! Agreeable to do this ! Wore contacts like this 40 years !!! Did the surgery on Aug 26th !! Six weeks later I have had blurred vision the entire 6 weeks !! Out of concern called for a follow apt 3 weeks later saw him !! Checked my eyes never telling me it was doing great no explanation nothing !! Stressed me beyond any Dr. See you in 6 weeks insulted me to get more rest before next visit , I’m a flt attd fly New Delhi India !! Strange after weeks no response to my concerns , at night was almost blind driving!! New something was wrong he never answered my concerns !!! Sent me to a eye dr for glasses or contacts???? After this surgery !!! I found my answer I would Never go back to this Dr. he’s not honest!! Put me through Hell!! NM was my Hospital !!!!

Dr. Basti is an excellent eye doctor. Cataract, Cornea and Refractive are his specialties. He is very thorough with his exams. He takes time with his exams and answers all your questions. Please allow time for your visit because he may request that you have other tests during your visit.

Dr. Basti was highly recommended to me by 2 of his former patients. He did cataract surgery on my eyes. He was very thorough, explained everything, listened and answered all of my questions, and gave me a few choices and recommendations. I am very happy with the results.

Dr. Basti is an expert in correcting cataract problems. He perfectly corrected the wrong lens put in by another opthamologist, who referred me to Dr. Basti for a second opinion.
