Very compassionate doctor
I had my first visit today and I found her to be very kind. She listened to my concerns and narrowed down a plan to help find some solutions to my pain. She is very knowledgeable of rare conditions. I was happy with my visit and it is nice to find a very compassionate doctor. The nurses and front office were very thorough as well.

Shame on you as a healthcare professional
Today I brought my elderly parents for their first visit. As a very organized person, I always carry copies of their IDs, medication lists, and insurance cards. The front desk lady took the new pt's paperwork, came back in 5 minutes, and said 'We can not see your parents because you didn't bring the original IDs'. I have been taking copies of id's for the past 6 years. I work in the doctor's office and have been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Everyone has digital images of everything on their phones. Their office manager came out and said 'There is a law that states no ID, no visit'. There is no law in America that states you will be turned away if you do not have a plastic ID with you. A paper copy or digital ID is fine, especially for 88-year-olds. I was begging the manager to let the doctor see my parents. I spent an hour putting their clothes on them and driving them in 100-degree weather. I asked to talk to Dr, and manager said 'No, she is aware of the situation'

I went to see Dr Thiru for a specific reason at the request of another physician. She spent the entire visit asking me about headaches, which was NOT the reason I was there. As she was leaving the room, I had to call her back and tell her AGAIN why I was there. She acted a bit perturbed and went through only a brief, cursory exam but did not address my problem. She sent prescriptions to my pharmacy for headaches after I explained that not only did I not need them, I was allergic to the medication and was told by 3 physicians not to take it. I also took previous test results for her to copy. She walked out of the room with them and kept them. Had to call medical records to get them back. She may be a good neurologist, but her listening skills and patient social skills need work. I will not be returning to her.

Absolutely terrible. Called the office after a seven-day headache and was told they would check with the doc. Called my PCP, who sent in a script for a migraine medicine (NOT a controlled medication) that helped that same day. Got a call back from Dr. Thirunarayanan's office THREE DAYS LATER saying, "Go to the ER." Been trying to get them to handle a pre-authorization for Emgality for a month with no calls back, no updates. I keep calling and having leave messages.

My wife has dementia and the doctor was treating her for it. We moved 90 miles away, so we would drive for 3 hours round trip because I wanted my wife to have the same doctor she had been seeing. The social security messed up on our new address and we didn't receive her new soc. security card. We drove 3 hours for her appointment and they would not accept her old card even though social security said they have to so they would not see her for her appointment, and they will not fill prescriptions

If there is a minus mark I would have given to this female. I can’t even call her a doctor. If she is busy she shouldn’t give the appointment. Period. You don’t just give appointment and send your potty mouthed PA to tell all the information I already know.

It took several phone called to get an appointment scheduled, the scheduling department never answers the phone. Once I finally made it to the office, the front desk staff clerk and nurse were wonderful. I ended up seeing the PA, without being told. I did not see the doctor at all. I scheduled a follow up appointment with the doctor, but didn't see her then either. The PA goes out to talk to her, but she doesn't come in. I check in on time, and get pulled back on time, but have to wait forever.

Spent 15 min with me and asked very few questions. Very cold hearted, uppity Dr. Let UHC know that too! Billed insurance for >1 hr. Office told me they had the proper referral, twice and did not. Would not call my PCP's office back to get proper referral. Even UHC representative, stated their billing office never returned her 2 phone calls. I finally got insurance to pay, but billed $645.00, an they disallowed over $400 and paid her $245. I owe nothing but not due to them with proper billing!!!
