Rude and Careless
Dr Ly makes it clear to his patients that they are not his priority. He is preoccupied, bothered with questions, and dishonest. He does not take a patients history, concerns, or conditions seriously and dismisses the patients health. He is careless about prescribing and will either deny new prescriptions or ask a patient for their previous medication and dosage instead of figuring out the best option. Absolutely do not recommend seeing Dr Ly as a cardiovascular provider.

Best cardiologist
I was late for my first appointment, and everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and professional. Dr. Ly was fantastic, and my nervousness at having to see a cardiologist was swiftly assuaged. He went over my history and concerns, and I did not feel rushed at all. I am very confident that Dr. Ly is the best cardiologist for me.

Rude and impatient. Did not want to spend time .
Disappointed that Dr Suntharo was so impatient and did not want to explain my family member's medical situation while she was hospitalized. Very stressful for this caregiver

And he said “its not like youre going to die” sorry but very unprofessional! I will be changing doctors! i was sad and dissapointed

I visited this office today!! There was a bit of a wait. The guy checking you in was very nice. The two people who helped me before Dr. Ly were also nice, helpful and listened. I found Dr. Ly dismissive and rude. He was in the room with me for less than five minutes. He wanted to change my meds and when I asked about side effects he told me everything has side effects.. even the air. He went on to say that I didn't need to concern myself with the side effects and not to read into that. He said either you trust me or you don't. I explained that it wasn't that I didn't trust him but that I did have questions and concerns and he said well I could do what I want.. told me some tests he wanted me to get and left the room. He has absolutely no bedside manner and that was my first and last visit.

On my last visit to Dr. Ly, I initially observed him to be very distant, preoccupied and very cold. When I asked about the referral he had given me for a surgical intervention, Dr. Ly came to the office appointment without a file and had no recollection of his referral doctor's name and the results he had been sent 2+ weeks prior. He further never responded to any of my legitimate concerns re serious side effects I am experiencing from medications I was taking. Dr. Ly said he didn't want to receive any faxes/telephone calls, etc. and that I was to personally bring in copies of all tests and reports to him when I came in for an office visit- so that he could look at "the papers in my hands". This I find to be totally outrageous. Without discussing anything about side effects of the medications I am taking, and/or a probable heart procedure, Dr. Ly told me to go back to see the endocrinologist in two weeks and to make a return appointment for him to see me in two months- and walked out.
