Poor experience
I’m an African American woman in my 40s and visited Dr. Boren with hopes of finding an obgyn in the area. I was hopeful, but quickly realized this wasn’t high-quality, culturally competent care. I felt she made assumptions about me and didn’t ask questions that some doctors generally do. After the visit, I had to follow up with a member of the nursing staff and I felt she was rushing me, as she was short and impatient. I wouldn’t recommend.

PROS: Dr. Boren is smart and capable. She did a fantastic job keeping me and baby healthy during our all natural delivery. She respected my desires in labor while making clear what was feasible and safe. I am glad she was my doctor. CONS: Dr. Boren is very fast. Our 1st appointment she introduced herself, asked ?s, did a pap exam, and discussed future appts all in literally 6 minutes. There are often long wait times but you don't get long amounts of time w/ Dr. Boren. Prepare to feel rushed.
