Our son was a high-risk delivery that was induced 3 weeks early due to multiple congenital heart defects. This Drs presence was requested at delivery to care for our newborn son, in case of the worst. First, he managed to show up 5 minutes late and then proceed to perform no assessment before scold the attending OBGYN and her staff while he walked out of the room. He acted like it was an inconvenience for him to be there and had no idea why he was there, even though our OBGYN and our attending nurse spoke with him personally hours earlier and it was extremely well documented in the chart that he had access to. Having performed no clinical evaluation on a sick newborn, even though that was exactly what was requested of him, I have zero confidence in this physicians medical competency and would advise any patients to seek care elsewhere. In addition, his overall professionalism is beyond sub-standard and reflects poorly on any organization that is associated with him.
