Condescending, Judgemental, Dismissive
When I went to see Dr. Summer, I came prepared with a list of concerns, but was told to choose only one to discuss. I felt frustrated because I believed all my issues were related and wanted to address them holistically. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness and a lack of empathy. Dr. Summer suggested my problems might be purely psychological and recommended therapy, insinuating that my stress was simply due to having three children. This approach didn't resonate with me because I've been in therapy before, and I knew this wasn't just a psychological issue.Feeling talked down to and not taken seriously, I decided to stop seeing Dr. Summer altogether, although I knew avoiding medical care wasn't a good solution. Eventually, I switched to a different healthcare provider who listens attentively and offers practical guidance without judgment. My new provider respects my perspective and considers my entire health picture, which has been a refreshing change.

The most caring and personal physician one can see these days. She is very professional and attentive to the patient's needs. Best doctor I have had in my 70 years.
