My husband used Dr. SATHI for back surgery. Dr. Sathi bypassed all other non invasive methods and suggested a lower back fusion. It has been over three years now and my husband still has neuropathy and cannot walk of his own accord. When we followed up, we got virtually no response. My husband was in the ICU for weeks following his surgery and we were told that it was to "provide a more closeful eye." Qt the time I trusted him blindly, yet it is clear now something went very wrong that he was not forthcoming about. His right had PA Leon was equally unhelpful. It has left our family unit in a difficult position as my husband never returned to work and now has painful inflammation around the area of surgery. Yet we have lost all hope and faith in thr medical community as a result of this man.

Thank you
I have had multiple spine surgeries and lower back pain for 4 years. Dr Sathi correctly diagnosed my issue and made sure I had the correct treatment. As far as I'm concerned, he is a Saint. Thank you

Made my dad’s back worse ??
Dr. Sathi convinced my father that surgery was the answer. He did two fusions in his back and he has been worse off since. Post surgery MRI showed many problems. Dr. Sathi was not happy that his PA ordered an MRI for my father… My dad regrets not having a second option. Still dealing with this nightmare years later.

Dr. Sathi and his PA absolutely messed up my husband's back When we attempted to reach out he simply brushed us off and said he couldnt figure it out. His PA responded that my husband would just have to live with the way things were and we would just have to accept it. Very dissapointed and my husband now lives in pain everyday as a result.

Dr. Sathi saved my husband's life. He had an old brain bleed from a fall a month prior and couldn't walk and was totally confused. Dr. Sathi immediately performed life saving surgery at St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital to remove the blood and relieve the pressure on his brain. Dr. Sathi recommended acute rehabilitation at St. Charles Hospital. He is home now and walking with the aid of a cane. He is doing very well.

Dr. Sathi is great, he found the problem in my back that other doctors did not for many years. After surgery (which went very well) during the follow up visits he listened to what I have to say and adjust treatment as required. He always provides you with additional information. I have no problem recommending Dr. Sathi.

Failed surgery. Doesn’t show up for appointments. Doesn’t return calls. Doesn’t seem to care. Horribly disorganized office. I suggest you find another surgeon.

Dr. Sathi, Dr. Leon and Dr. Welsch were both pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I required complicated spinal surgery to fix the pain that i have had for years. The team was able to walk us through the risks and potential outcomes in a more than satisfactory way. They are also one of the few doctors that has access to some state-of-the art robots and lasers. If you live near Long Island they are worth the visit and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
