Worst 'neurologist' I've ever been to
I have numerous brain and spinal lesions due to multiple sclerosis. Dr. 'Sam' rushed through the appointment, giving me less than 3 minutes. She never explained the results and only said I could leave that they were 'through for the day,' whatever that meant. I asked her to please explain anything she could to me. I was very nice to her, but she was incredibly rude. I have since found a very good neurologist who listens and is willing to explain in detail for his patients. I found out about the lesions from my new neurologist. If it was for Sam, I never would have known.

Dr. visit
Went to see this doctor for the first time previous doctor left this practice. I miss him very much trying to be nice but can’t about this neurologist. I have epilepsy which is hard to control, but it can be as long as I have my seizure medication as soon as I mentioned, I had brain surgery she completely shut down, as soon as she walked in the room, she only gave me five minutes to explain my condition that I have had for 20 years very unkind but now I am scrambling to find new neurologist so I can get epilepsy medicine. I am about to run out and am having to reach out to the epilepsy foundation for help , without seizure medication I will too much to explain, but did not look at previous doctors. Notes was very ugly to me. Tell me too complicated of a case did not even refer me to another doctor I could say more, but I do not have enough room I’m very sorry, but do not go see this person .

When we me5 withbeach othernshe was very nice, concise, helpful wo5h questions we had and, as a while she jas a wonderful manner about herself. As a med professional auenis very sought after. We had to wait a littke bit to see her, but she took her time with everything. She does, however have a strict visit policy. If you miss appts. Twice after the second reschedule she wont see 6ou. Or so Ive been told by the receptionist. Always good to ask in advance in case you miss.

Dr. Sam and her nurse are amazing people and let’s not forget the sweet lady that takes our blood. I do not know where I would be without them today. They have got all my meds under control when Vanderbilt could not. They treat me like family every time I walk in the door. Treat others as you want to be treated. Fantastic people!

I totally agree with all the reviews. Stay away. Rude, rushes through the appointment, won't allow a person to speak. She did not wear a mask during recent appointment. She was very demeaning to the patient and the spouse/ caregiver. Her written health summary was derogatory and untruthful towards the patient's spouse. She is in the wrong profession. She does not deserve one star. I am a spouse/caregiver and was a social worker at one time. Stay away!

Who in their right mind would go to a Doctor that graduated from the Caribbean School of Medicine. She is rude and not professional! The absolute worst.
