Dr. Suma Thomas, DO

DO suma Thomas is incredibly condescending and unhelpful. It was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with someone in the medical field. She tried to embarrass me, used inappropriate language, and I had to contact the administration multiple times. See someone else

I came to Dr. Thomas after suffering with pain for 8 months and struggling with a previous Doctor. I understand that she was getting to know with me, but it felt like she treated me like a drug addict. I just needed help and preferred to not have medications! I also felt like an inconvenience. Again, suffering for long and just needed help! I would receive blank looks like "what do you want from me" or "there is nothing I can do for you". I now have a different doctor and found out that I am suffering from pain/nerve pain due to disk degeneration. Until an MRI, it was hidden. Trusting/paying attention to your patients is just as beneficial as testing. My current Doctor trusted me and continued CARE to find out what was going on with my my body. I do not recommend her or the staff that support her.

Dr Thomas is thorough, caring and she listens to all your concerns.

Don't waste your time. Terrible bedside manner. Is never in the office. Terrible bedside manner. Takes 6 message to get a refill.

Dr. Thomas is the best family Dr. I have ever had. Her bed side manners are impeccable and she really knows how to make you comfortable. Dr. Thomas really knows her stuff and will work with you to turn your health around and feel your best. If you are tired of being sick and want answers please visit Dr. Thomas. We love you Dr. Thomas!!!

She is the best. I hadnt been to a doctor in over 8 years because of my anxiety. I heard great things and gave her a shot. I was instantly relaxed when i walked back in the rooms area. Her staff is on point and Dr. Thomas actually listens!!

Dr. Thomas listens and assists to the best of her ability, when other practitioners fell short. She worked together with me and talked things through. She takes initiative and gets tasks done right away. I went into the appointment with my list of concerns and requests, and we went through them quickly and efficiently. By the end of my appointment, my referral requests were on their way, with notes and calls already started with help from her assistant, Holly. Dr. Thomas, Holly and I make a great team!

Me and My wife visited Dr.Suma Thomas for an annual checkup, she had a chat with us hardly for 10 minutes and asked us to come back in a month for full checkup. Right from entering i informed every staff and doctor that this visit is for Annual checkup, nobody informed us that Annual checkup wont be done on 1st visit, later they took blood from me alone as my wife already had done these tests in sparrow in recent times. Staff's informed us that these are for annual checkup. After a week Aetna informed me that i have been charged $1000+'s for our visit. when contacted Aetna , they informed me none of these are coded as annual checkup and lab is out of n/w. we contacted the clinic and clinic was giving that we cant help for out of n/w lab as it will be patients responsibility to check. how come patient knows which lab clinic uses. only thing patient can check is whether clinic is in or out of n/w. Also Dr charged $180 X 2 for our 10 minute visit . this place just rips apart.

Dr. Suma Thomas is amazing. Her and her staff were so welcoming and friendly. I have seen Dr. Thomas for my primary care needs as well as osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Suma Thomas is a true star. I highly recommend her as a Primary care provider.
