Not my best experience
I went to her my entire pregnancy. She was pleasant at first. I then had an abnormal Pap smear which then had a biopsy done six or so weeks postpartum. When I got to that appointment she said I didn’t need a biopsy that I should have had just a Pap smear I’m like your the one who recommended one due to abnormalities. Then she’s like I didn’t look at your chart since she was double booked and I was like well can you check because I don’t want anything going wrong. When she checked she definitely saw her own notes stating that it was to be done and though she saw it she still was not convinced to do it. She stated this is what I think is going to happen “the biopsy is going to come out good negative for abnormal cells so I’ll just message you see you in a year for a follow up pap”. Well guess what my biopsy wasn’t okay and if I wouldn’t have insisted I would have been living with cervical cancer. Oh n no appts with her for the last 1.5 months of my pregnancy.

Had an appointment with her because my regular dr. was not available last year . I am a senior and always have good insurances which I have never had issues . I got a collection notice of $97. Insurance denied because Dr sun stated the visit was medically unnecessary. I normally don't go to Drs if I don't have to since I am a RN myself..I called her office numerous times . She insisted that the visit was unnecessary. What a caring doctor she is! I don't recommend Dr.Sum Cheung.

Amazing doctor that is not only personable but very responsive! Definitely recommend (have several times already to friends and colleagues)... Cares about her patients and takes the time needed to explain everything with diligent follow-up!

I Love Dr. Cheung! She always answered my questions and never made me feel rushed. A big reason why I love Dr. Cheung is that she never pushed her ideals on me but supported my plans for both of my pregnancies that were delivered by C-Section. I've recommended Dr. Cheung to other friends and family and it 2 other people who recommended her to me. Thanks Dr. Cheung for all your help.
