Like many others, my appointments were about 5 minutes each. I expressed concerns to her and she would not address them, even when I pushed for medication changes. I specifically told her one day “I’m really struggling, I need something adjusted” and she didn’t change a medication and was about to hang up until I said “I really need one of my medications adjusted.” I repeatedly told her that a medication was not working for me and she continuously tried to prescribe it. She took me off a medication I’d been on for years and told me I only needed to taper off for three days. I started experiencing withdrawal symptoms and I asked another doctor about it and they said I should’ve tapered it off over many weeks. When I discussed this with her and asked for help with the withdrawal symptoms, she said it was normal. On top of all of this, I had a scheduled appointment with her this week. I reached out to change the appointment twice because I have a scheduling conflict. I really need a refill on one of my medications which was why it was important for her to reschedule with me. Instead of responding, she cancelled my appointment without explanation. I reached out to customer service for the company I was seeing her through, and they said she no longer works with them. She ghosted me with no warning, so now I am left without a psychiatrist and needing a refill for an important medication of mine. I see this isn’t the first time she has done this, which is so unprofessional and dangerous to be leaving patients hanging cold turkey.

She is a lifesaver
Telehealth
I don’t know where these reviews are coming from but sounds like a technical issue to me for most of these folks. As for the quality of care, she listened, expressed concern and asked probing questions. Couldn’t ask for more.

Do not recommend
Telehealth
I’ve had a few sessions with Dr. Sohi, and every session was only about 5 minutes, including the initial assessment. I thought it was normal until I talked to my friends, but it’s definitely not normal. She just prescribed medication without even listening to me when I was trying to describe my symptoms and how I feel.

Waste of time
Telehealth
This was my first time making an appointment with a psychiatrist and very difficult for me. I submitted all of my medical information online ahead of time and she reviewed none of it. Asked me to verbally verify every single thing over the phone again and then spent about a minute and a half actually talking to me about a medication. The entire visit was 5 minutes-ish, I felt extremely uncomfortable and very disregarded as a patient. When I expressed this to her she almost laughed and then we ended the call. Extremely bizarre for somebody who went to school for this. Never somebody I would recommend. Her bedside manner was very entitled and she has the attitude of a petulant 16 year old.

Alarming experience, beware.
My virtual visit lasted a total of 12 minutes, alarming. After being rushed through about 5 questions without ample time to answer without being cut off within 10 minutes, I was prescribed medication and given the bare minimum of information. It was a very transactional and concerning visit, being I’ve been experiencing depression and PTSD and am apprehensive to take medication due to the side effects. I wish I would have looked at her reviews before scheduling with this provider, because I would have found someone else. Needless to say, I’m cancelling our follow-up appointment and not going to take the prescription. Lesson learned, read the reviews to ensure you get the level of care you deserve.

Gaslighted me over Appointment Time
Telehealth
I had an appointment with Dr. Sohi and she didn’t show. When I went back in the system she’d changed the time. Good thing I always take screenshots of my appointment confirmations so I didn’t fall for her gaslighting. Aren’t psychiatrists supposed to help mental illnesses not cause more?!

Cancelled Telehealth Appointment Without Explanati
I am in need of a refill on my meds and she cancelled my first telehealth appointment without explanation. Given other reviews, this appears to be her MO.

NEVER AGAIN!
Utilized her as a telehealth psychiatrist. Literally spent 17 minutes with me first appt. Prescribed continued meds. Emailed with complications. No response but did charge me for a "missed appt." Finally got an appt. Online for 3 MINUTES! Changed requested medication. Pretty much told me to find a different psychiatrist if I expected better communication. No bedside manner whatsoever. Very belittling if I questioned anything. Her documentation is riddled with inaccuracies as well. Including blatant lies and inconsistencies. She also repeatedly rescheduled my appointments without notification.

unprofessional
I scheduled with this doctor so I stopped searching for a new provider. I was out of my medication and I desperately needed this doctor to see me for this medication and yet 10 mins into our appointment she just logged off and told the telehealth provider she didn't want to see me. Now I'm in crisis with zero medication and zero providers. Thanks so much for "doing no harm."

Cancelled appointment
I had scheduled to see Dr. Sohi via telemedicine. I was waiting and could see her on the screen when she abruptly disconnected and canceled the appointment. We contacted the service provider to reconnect and she had made herself completely unavailable. This lack of professionalism is unbelievable. I cannot understand why she would disregard a patient who had just shared the severe needs for the appointment in the pre-meeting notes.

Awful at refilling prescriptions
The televisits were fine with Dr. Sohi; it was trying to get my prescriptions filled that was a pain. She would not answer any of my pharmacy's calls to try to get a sign off on refills, and on two different occasions the wait was so long that I started getting serious withdrawal symptoms.

I cannot understand the bad reviews. She's very understanding and lets you say your part. I was hesitant over reviews but they're so wrong. She set a plan, gave direction, suggestions, so nice... I'm happy I didn't see these reviews before because they're inaccurate. She's the real deal. As long as she takes me, I'll chose her. Out of all of the psychiatrists i've seen since childhood, still, choose her.

I had a televisit with Sohi and she was incredibly rude and lacked in bedside manner. After confiding in her why I had booked the appointment, she prescribed a medication. I told her that I had not yet heard of that medication and her response was "I wouldn't expect you to know that medication since you're not a psychiatrist." After telling her that while I'm not a psychiatrist, I have done my research on my own mental health, she responded with "well I'm surprised you haven't heard about this medication if you've done your own research." She focused more on being sassy and was not capable of showing compassion, understanding, calmness, etc in a place where it is VITAL. She should not be on a mental health platform or working in mental health field since she does not know how to communicate kindly to patients and put her own ego aside. Awful visit, and she has been reported to the MD live community.

Dr Sohi completely ghosted me. I had 2 telehealth visits and then tried scheduling another follow-up and she didn't answer any of my requests. I also had a prescription running out (it was only 30 days) and she never answered the request to fulfill it. I tried again to schedule an appointment with her and now response through Teladoc and no other way to reach her. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
