Dr. Sujatha Shankar, MD

I cannot express enough how incredible Dr. Shankar is! She is truly the best thing that has ever happened to both my children. From the very first visit only (14 years ago) it was clear that she cares deeply for her patients. Unlike any other doctor we’ve seen, she takes her time, listens attentively, and shows a personal interest in the well-being of my kids. She goes above and beyond, offering guidance even when it’s outside her area of expertise and always recommends what’s best for their health. Her dedication, compassion, and thoroughness are unmatched, and I feel so fortunate to have her as my children’s doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Shankar . She has been my Childrens pediatrician since the last 15 years and I cannot say enough about her and her staff. I couldn’t have raised my boys without her support.

She just talks to get parents attention and confidence, but attends to several kids at the same time. With her divided attention, she misses the obvious. My kids was suffering from hypothyroidism, and she never tested it for several years. The next doctor we moved to caught it on the first day and was surprised she was never tested for it. It was very bad that she went without medication for several years, a very serious issue. Keep away from this lady. She may be smart but with her divided attention, it will do you more harm than good.

We have been visiting Dr Sujata Shankar for the past three and half year since my son was born. We never had any bad experience. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative aspect is we have to wait even if we are on time for our appointment. We moved to a different state now and I really miss our doctors from New Jersey.

Arrogant, unhelpful, unorganzed, 2-3 hours of wait time. She forgot that she has listen first, advise second. Never a good experience.

Impresses you with advice anyone can give. Not able to diagnose or treat effectively even simple conditions. Will never go there again
