If you're looking for a GREAT psychiatrist, this is your guy-very attentive, but OH.MY.GOD. the adventure to GET to his office, as a DIAGNOSED MENTAL PATIENT, you MUST make it past the office staff who ALL seem to have NO IDEA wth is happening, as if strangers, NONE of them seem to know each other AT ALL, if ANY of them are real, if they've been RIPPED from another fn dimension, like chickens with no heads, bumping into each other like they are so LOST...& AFRAID, and need YOU-THE PATIENT, to help THEM tell YOU why they are even there, if YOU are even real, also, is there is a FN DOLPHIN SINGING W.A.P IN THE FN CORNER, aS a mental patient, you're just watching this ALL HAPPEN, as if YOU need to tell THEM their jobs, as NONE OF THEM seem to know WHAT the job is?? WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT is the MOST COMMONLY asked question, h/o-& THEN they ask WHAT ARE EVEN FRIES? As a mental patient, the mental gymnastics of what you're witnessing makes you wonder IS THIS REAL? Am I safe?

i was in advocate christ hospital march 2018. i had adamantly refused a pneumonia shot in gokhale's office. the last day i was there the nurse came in and gave me the shot anyway, before i had the chance to say anything. i thought she was coming in to take my bloodwork. i have developed several allergies, year round, due to this shot. i use 4 boxes of kleenex a week and take over 16 allergy pills a day, which has broken my budget. golkhale is the worst dr ever!

Dr gokhale is awesome!

I was first a patient of Dr. Sudhir Gokhale. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, patient, an excellent listener, willing to take my opinions into consideration, and a man of smiles and good humor. He has a very busy practice, so after awhile I was told that I would be changing doctors and seeing Dr. Nisha Gokhale. Not liking change and liking Dr. Sudhir so much I was very anxious about this. However, she immediately put me at ease from my first appointment on. She has many of the same qualities as Dr. Sudhir and also a very calming demeanor. Not only that, but I can't afford a counselor at this time (which she knows) and has taken extra time with me to discuss other parts of my life both related and unrelated to my mental illness. She has also worked with me on getting a regular schedule in my life. So, ultimately I would definitely recommend seeing either of these doctors. Good luck to you!

Dr. S. Gokhale take time with his patience explains conditions with you .. answers & listens to questions as the best that he can. The very down side is that the staff is many times is disrespectful and rude .

I have been a patient of Dr Gokhale for over 25 years. He is an EXPERT in the field of psychiatric medicine in addition to being a caring and compassionate person. I would highly recommend Dr Gokhale and the entire staff of qualified professional individuals that work under his direction.

Never, never see Paul. I was crying hysterically & he told me all I do is cry & want more medications. Actually I wanted to get off some medications. I thought about driving into a tree when I left him. He is cocky, cruel & condescending. There is NO way he should be seeing sick people!!!!!

Staff is EXTREMELY UNPROFFESSIONAL!!!! RUDE AND UNHELPFUL!! If I'm having this kind of trouble at the start with scheduling, you bet I'm not coming here. This completely turned me away from seeing the doctor. I can just imagine the mess with billing.

No stars! The office staff is very rude and unprofessional. They wouldn't assist a handicapped patient with the paperwork! Left the office more frustrated than anything. You expect some compassion from a healthcare provider, instead you are turned away!!!

I had been going to Dr. Gokhale for a over a year and he had known my insurance was going to end at the turn of the year and it ended up expiring before I was able to fill the rx anyway by the time I got new insurance the office staff would not do a prior authorization for rx bc i had to be seen again according to "law" but I actually found out this was untruthful. After confronting them they finally said they would do it but waited until last minute to let the rx expire. Unprofessional.

As for Dr. Gokhale, he is a great and very caring psychiatrist, as for his office staff, they have zero empathy, poor communication skills, unfit for patient care, and are very unprofessional especially for working in the health care field. From scheduling appointments to prior authorizations to simple staff courteousness and friendliness, they always cause much more stress than a psychiatry office should. After they take your money they act like you have never been seen at the office before.

Dr. Gokhale is an intuitive , warm and very professional physician. I have been going to him for about 10 years. He is an excellent, very knowledgeable doctor who knows his craft and wonderfully cares for his patients. His office staff is not top notch (communication w patients and billing have been problematic in the past) but is seems to be adequate now. I would highly recommend Dr. Gokhale to anyone.

Dr Gokale is great, but his staff is a bunch of idiots and rude. Also, expect to be sent to the billing office EVERY time because their office does not communicate. Plus, in 2016, they nofiy you of co-pays, supposedly, not paid from 2013. Even though you never had a balance previously. If Dr Gohkale wasn't such a GREAT doctor, I'd imagine his staff would drive patients away.
