Dr. Stuart Warnaar, MD

Dr. Warnaar has been my primary physician ever since Dr. John Zackman retired. Dr. Z. recommended Dr. Warnaar to me. I am so happy for the recommendation. Dr. Warnaar listens, inquires, stays on top of things. He is very knowledgable, explains things well, is responsive to questions, makes referrals to specialists when necessary. I am also happy with the on-call and support staff. They are reflective of a good management team approach by Milliken Medical.

I really miss Dr. Warnaar - and his staff. (We left only because we left the area). As a health care provider myself, I believe I know excellence in a physician when I encounter it: I encountered it on every visit to Lee Warnaar. Dr. Warnaar is a true caretaker who not only has cutting edge knowledge and skills, but is intuitive and sensitive to his patients’ needs and feelings. I never felt rushed, never felt my concerns were unimportant and certainly never felt that we, as a family, were anything but an important part of Dr. Warnaar’s practice. The staff was warm, welcoming, kind, and - they always remembered us! All in all a great place to go for care! This is our second move since Traverse City and even though we’ve had great docs since, you are still really missed! (Anytime you’d like to move to sunny Hawai’i . . . !)

Really like his personality. Admits he doesn't know when he doesn't, but he will research condition/information. I feel I can talk with him about anything. Trust him totally. He is very supportive and will go to bat if you need something. Very clear in communication and willing to spend as much time as necessary to explain. I feel he really listens to my concerns/questions. I can discuss all of my other providers with him and get his opinion.
