Dr. Silverman is a brilliant and kind doctor. In my opinion he is one of the greatest physicians who has ever lived and practiced medicine. He has devoted his life's work to researching, teaching, and providing his patients with exceptional medical care. He listens to you & answers all of your questions. He cares about his patients and is committed to helping them achieve the highest level of health & wellbeing that is medically possible. I've known him for 23 years. At my 1st visit, he diagnosed me wt. FM & a life threatening illness that was not in his specialty but that was very real. Other physicians that I 'd seen overlooked & disregarded my symptoms. Because of his brilliance I am alive today!! After I recovered, I returned to him & became enrolled in his FM Program where I learned life skills & medical treatments to help me to deal wt. FM flair-ups & debilitating & disabling pain. He continues to provide me wt. exceptional care today. If you want to get well go see him!

Osteopenia treatment
Although at times it was difficult to get appointments during COVID - and the office was a bit scattered now there is much more normalcy regarding appointment scheduling. I received a letter to remind me of appointments, for example. The nursing staff is fantastic- warm friendly and professional. It is quite convenient to have the bone density equipment there in office.Dr. Silverman is not rude at all- as some suggested-has a good sense of humor, and is efficient, I have never felt rushed at all.

Undecided, right now I'm at 2.5 stars
Wish I read the negative reviews here before going to see Dr. Silverman. My time with the doctor was alright. However, there have been problems. I am on the fence right now, about the quality of the care I am receiving. I am going to give it another week before giving a full review.

Amazing Experience for over 7 yrs
Dr. Silverman has been my provider for seven years. He is the most understanding I have experienced when it comes to conditions that others blew off and ignored. This weekend I sent an email after a really rough night. I simply was hoping he would see it sooner on Monday morning. I was shocked when I got an email back quickly with a treatment plan.

Six weeks ago, I went to Dr. Silverman for my Chronic Active Epstein Barr Virus. It seems that the lab lost my bloodwork results but Silverman and/ or his office staff wouldn't acknowledge this. Worse, Dr. Silverman wanted me to schedule a new appt to discuss a treatment plan, which made no sense since the bloodwork (as he finally acknowledged) had been lost. He seems very out of it. At the front desk they were giggling about how out of it he was during my visit. Very strange and demoralizing. All in all, over a six-week period, I called about a dozen times, including vms and emails to the office manager (who didn't reply), and am now giving up and looking for a new immunologist.

I wish I had checked here before seeing him. The bad reviews are correct: he should retire. I'm not sure if he was ever a competent doctor, but he certainly isn't anymore. Very full of himself and ignored the bad effects of his suggested treatments. Another rheumatologist also contradicted his diagnosis.

My first meeting with Dr. Silverman called to mind the real-life House, the TV Sherlockian diagnostician who gives patients answers that have eluded everyone. Dr. Silverman is that without the character’s acerbity or drama. He is intelligent, direct, yet compassionate and respectful, and really took the time to listen and asked me questions. He also has a sense of humor and is cool. His wonderful staff members I met were professional, kind, and instantly likable. I like how he provides a full-range of solutions, especially holistic ones, makes communication accessible, and how his office is well-run and organized.

His knowledge is unmatched. He answered all my questions, and I had many. Because of him my osteoporosis has improved to almost osteopenia and I'm not finished yet with my Forteo program. I have progressed from first diagnosis 27%. I trust him, and his decisions. My quality of life is much improved due to his advice. Top notch in his field!!!

The worst man you’ve ever met in your life. Very rude. Does not answer questions. We had specified so many questions and was taken aback and did not address them. Please do not go to him. Potentially ruined my fathers life and causes lasting damage.

Am so grateful for his emails, telephonic support and today’s visit. GREAT physician, knowledgable, kind and understanding. If you have fibromyalgia or any other neurologic, arthritic, or other issue, he’s first rate, and has excellent referrals to specialists who can help.

The worst doctor I've ever seen, and I've seen far too many. His incompetence is only exceeded by his rudeness. He's extremely rough in physical exams (ironic considering many of his patients are sensitive) and did lasting damage. Pretty sure the other reviews here are fake. No matter what recommendation you got, you're going to regret going to see him.

Arrogant and rushed. Multiple incorrect diagnoses and just an awful experience all around. Can't imagine what doctor the 'good' reviewers saw, but it wasn't the same one who examined me.
