We were going to YAI Premiere healthcare for our daughter's care. She is multiply disabled and epileptic. We soon discovered that Dr Wolf's nurse practitioner Patty McGoldrick was an equal partner who took his place at checkups. We found her people skills lacking to say the least. Her manner was very blunt and rude and she got down right nasty if contradicted. Our last visit by video was supposed to be very routine but turned into an opportunity for Ms McGoldrick to be unnecessarily snarky. At one point she yelled at me and when I told her I didn't appreciate it she hung up on me. They then forced us to come in for yet another visit by holding our daughter's meds hostage and when we arrived they told us we were banned from every coming there again. This was not a hardship since that entire office is run in a rude and unprofessional way. Save yourself the anxiety and see someone else if you want anything resembling actual care.

Worst office staff!
We were recommended by our son’s Neurosurgeon to contact Dr. Wolf’s office. My son needs to be checked regarding a recent concussion and how we can ween him off his current medication. We have left FOUR voicemail messages with his office over a week’s time and they have not had the courtesy to return one phone call! Our situation is not dire but is very important. Based upon his office staff’s response, I would avoid this doctor. The shame of it is Dr. Wolf is probably not even aware of his non-responsive staff!

Bad Patient Exlerience with Patty Mcgoldrick
We unfortunately like Dr. WOLF a lot as he has helped our daughter truly manage her epilepsy. This review is for his Nurse Practitioner Patty McGoldrick. We have had multiple instances with her where she has been rude and abrupt. Every time we have an apointment or a medication change there is always an issue. The pharmacy either never receives the script, the script goes to the wrong pharmacy or the script is incorrect. In todays latest situation, we had to call the on call service who connected us to her. She called back and was immediately rude on the phone. We asked if we could call the pharmacy as she was on the phone with us. She refused, got aggressive and began to speak over us and then proceeded to hang up the phone. I am a hospital administrator who also oversees practices. This womans actions are some of the worst displays I have seen. The patient experience that she provides is at a very low level. Dr. Wolf, we have a call with you on Wednesday and I am hoping you can assis

So Grateful.
We are so glad we have found Dr. Wolf and Patty. After our daughter’s first seizure, we were terrified and felt like we were thrown into a world of uncertainty. Dr. Wolf helped to put our nerves at ease, providing a clear and comprehensive treatment plan. Their office is easily accessible and their EEG team is extremely patient and accommodating. When our daughter was admitted for a seizure at a hospital in the city, Patty rose above and beyond, offering to consult with the inpatient neuro team. She checked in on us after we were discharged and immediately called in our next planned medications so they would be available to us as soon as possible (insurance and prior auths are a process). Epilepsy is still a new and scary diagnosis but with Dr. Wolf and Patty on our daughter’s team, we feel more at ease putting our trust in their care.

Stay away.....
Stay away, even though initially we met, and Dr. Wolf was attentive and took time to explain all ins/outs about medication and Epilepsy while my daughter was in the hospital. Things got interesting once she was discharged, and we had to see him for a follow-up appointment - I was asked that he and Patty (his NP) would see our daughter, and - needless to say, I kept chasing and calling and calling to get an appointment.....no timely appointment provided. Initial medicine did not improve our daughter's condition, and it became trial and error in our case - up the dose, up the dose...no explanation. I would research and ask questions (none answered; instead, I am reminded she HAS Epilepsy). I know he and his team have amassed an excellent review, so not sure if this treatment was targeted explicitly towards us, given our daughter is severely autistic...and non-verbal.

The Best
Dr Wolf and Patty are the best! My daughter has received tremendous care from them and they are always willing to listen and spend the time with her. They are well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from upstate NY!

I had high hopes for this team as they are affiliated and located the same building as our pediatrician. Maybe he and his team are good doctors. Then again, it’s almost impossible to progress with them. The office is horribly disorganized. Don’t even try and get a call back or get them to correct an error of theirs and you’ll be dismissed, lied to and hung up on when you catch them. There are so much better.

Dr. Wolf and Patty McColdrick are amazing. He saved my daughter's life and then, together with Patty, treated my daughter with the highest quality of medical care during her two month recovery and after. They bring a rare combination of unparalleled expertise, supportive honesty and genuine kindness to the medical field. I can't even think about what it would have been like to go through what we went through without their expertise and thoughtful approach. I am forever thankful to them for saving my daughter.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr Wolf and Patti McGoldrick. They are phenomenal healthcare providers. Their caring and professionalism combined with deep understanding of their patient's needs, and, importantly, their wants; this particular population is often underserved, and Dr Wolf and his team are profoundly committed.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Wolf and Patty for 7 years now. They are extremely knowledgable about patients living with complex medical conditions. Not only that, they truly care about quality of life- something so important when you are treating someone non-verbal or developmentally delayed. They are responsive in a crisis and willing to work with other MD's to make sure the patient receives the best care.

Dr. Wolf and Patty basically delayed calling my sons prescription that he needed for his seizures and were annoyed at me calling 4 times that day. Due to that my son went without his meds for going on 4 days now. She actually told her worker that she was aware because I called numerous time that day and still never called his meds in. What if he would have a seizure. I know it takes a click of a button to send those meds to the pharmacy (I know because I've been there when it was done). The person who answered the call after hours was condescending and rude. She lacked empathy and should not be working with the general public.

Dr. Steven Wolf and Patty McGoldrick are OUTSTANDING in every way. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional but also are involved with their patients in a very personal , caring way. They both have been over the top supportive to both our daughter and us as parents. We have been on quite a journey with our daughters Epilepsy and these 2 special individuals are instrumental in helping us navigate that journey. There is MUCH uncertainty with Epilepsy but we are CERTAIN that we are with the right medical team. We have recommended Dr Wolf and Patty to other individuals who also believe they are the BEST. We travel 2 1/2 hours for appointments with Dr Wolf and Patty with no regrets . They are worth it. Carmen, who schedules appointments, etc is also outstanding . Without reservation , we HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wolf and Patty!

We are so very grateful for Dr. Wolf and Patty! I can't even imagine where we would be right now if we had not found them 15 years ago and gotten my son's seizures under control when nothing else had worked! They are not only outstanding medical professionals but are also concerned about the whole child: school/work, social life, etc. They are a great team and truly care about the child and the whole family.
