Dr. Tanzer was my most favorite doctor out of the dozens of physicians I have known in my 70 years and 8 major metropolitan areas I have lived. I agree the office was not great about punctuality, but Dr. Tanzer would always take the time to hear me, I never felt like he was trying to do assembly line doctoring. I am in LA now and miss him. I never once walked in for an appointment where I didn’t have to wait an additional 60-90 minutes to be seen. I’m in the medical industry and he by far has the worst attitude I’ve seen. Would make mistakes on me prescription and wouldn’t correct in a timely manner. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Tanzer goes above and beyond to give excellent care to his patients. I never feel rushed, as he takes the time to listen to my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. My family and I are in good hands with such a caring, exceptional doctor.

Although Dr. Tanzer is an excellent physician whom I've been with for 40+ years, the office is NOT user friendly in any way. I've been direct with Dr. Tanzer and his office manager about the staff. A Type II diabetic, I visit 2 times yeaerly for an A1C check. The last time, the bruise from the lab tech lasted 3 weeks. I received an abrupt v. mail message "Your A1C is 7.2, too high and your blood sugar was 200 in the office." My fasting bl. sugar was 115 when I left the house - stress, I think.
