I recently had the unfortunate experience of fracturing my 5th metatarsal, but I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under the care of Dr. Steven D. Steinlauf. From the moment I met him, Dr. Steinlauf demonstrated not only exceptional expertise, but a calm and reassuring presence that immediately put me at ease.Dr. Steinlauf took the time to clearly explain the nature of my injury and all of the treatment options available, answering my questions with patience and care. His expertise was evident, and I felt completely confident in the treatment plan he recommended. Throughout the process-from diagnosis to recovery-Dr. Steinlauf was attentive, thorough, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my healing.Thanks to his skill and guidance, my recovery went smoothly and I’m now back on my feet, quite literally. I had minimally invasive bunion surgery performed, and it was just what Dr. Steinlauf had said it would be if not better. It has now been a little over six months and I almost can't believe how well my foot has healed. The issue has been corrected, and I am back to full function. I highly recommend Dr. Steinlauf as he did an excellent job on correcting my issue.

Dr Steinlauf is an amazing surgeon and person . He is kind and very knowledgable. My case was very complex and under his care I always felt he was doing the best to take care of me . I would recommend him to anyone that has ankle or foot issues

Dr Steinlauf was completely dedicated, determined and skilled during my husband's foot surgery. My husband had a fractured navicular bone. It turned out to be a much more serious and extensive surgery. Dr Steinlauf has a loyal, dedicated team around him, as well. My husband no longer has pain and he is quite physically active. I am so grateful to Dr Steinlauf.I want to add that Dr Steinlauf did foot surgery on my daughter 16 years ago. She had torn ligaments in her foot. She went on to achieve Olympic trial times and set state records. She has told me that the foot he repaired is better than her 'good' foot.However, his most outstanding quality is his determination to give you the best result and how he answers your questions. He is a truly gifted surgeon.

I had an unsuccessful reconstructive foot surgery in Orlando and was unable to wear a shoe or walk for 4 years. Nobody wanted to touch it or give me any hope for correcting it. I went to several prestigious hospitals in the southeast and they all recommended I see Dr. Steinlauf. He felt he definitely could improve my quality of life. I knew my foot would never be normal again, but I was desperate to be able to wear a shoe and walk. I did not live locally but they worked with me to make everything as convenient as possible. The surgery was very successful and every goal I had coming out of the surgery was met. He was amazing, he truly cared, his staff was phenomenal and always kind, the the facilities were very clean and professional. I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend him for anyone that feels they don't have any hope. I searched for years to find the best surgeon I could and I did!

The biggest problem is trying to arrange home health care. I had to arrange myself and then ask the staff to write the orders.

Dr. Steinlauf is a God sent, he did my feet fusion, bunions repair surgery. He takes his time to explain all procedures, wonderful doctor. All I can say , he works magic on my feet, thanks to him, I got my feet back.

Dr. Steinlauf performed foot surgery on my right foot one year ago. Due to an unsuccessful bunion surgery performed by another doctor, I had been suffering from severe pain and stiffness in my big toe. Dr. Steinlauf thoroughly explained all of the options to me and I selected one of the options he offered. I trust Dr. Steinlauf 100% with the care of my foot and I highly recommend him to other patients. His staff is very friendly and I feel like I receive the best care when I visit his office. I am very happy with my results.

I shattered my ankle in 2001 doing some rally cool stuff. Dr. Steinlauf put me my ankle back together. 20 years later the arthritis was just too much and I was not ready to stop working. I had my left ankle totally replaced on March 26, 2024. Today is September 9, 2024. I went back to work after Physical Therapy a few months ago. The arthritis is a thing of the past and I couldn't be more relived. Thanks to Dr. Stienlauf and P.A. Andrea Pierre along with the staff both at the The Lennar Foundation Medical Center and his office in Plantation. I couldn't have asked for or received better care.

Dr. Steinlauf performed a total ankle replacement t procedure for me.I am totally happy with the results. Outstanding doctor! Very professional and up to date on all the latest therapies.

Dr. Steinlauf helped me very much. I am an athlete who has trained in competitive dance for many years and struggled with ankle pain for a very long time. Within a few visits Dr. Steinlauf found my problem, conducted procedures which helped it, and eventually surgically operated my ankle. It helped a great deal and I have slowly been able to begin dancing again with very little pain which improves daily. I would totally recommend seeing him especially if you are an athlete.

Dr. Steinlauf preformed corrective surgery on my feet, each surgery 6 months apart. He took the time to explain everything after doing a thorough evaluation. He is up on the latest procedures, looking for good results with minimal trauma. He is very clear when discussing the procedure and amount of time for healing. My foot issues were affecting my posture, causing backache and my feet hurt with toes that created camel humps in my shoes. I am now walking and exercising and my feet work and feel great. I am more than satisfied and grateful for having Dr. Steinlauf as my surgeon. His reputation is earned and deserved.

Dr. Steinlauf conducted cheilectomy on my left foot. He explained in detail the procedure; reviewed the imaging scans with me; gave detailed answers to my questions. The surgery was flawless and the recovery speedy.

The Doctor was very professional , he took the time to explain to my mother who is 82 years old and what the operation on her feet and the recovery process would be like . Marvelous. Other orthopedic doctors had prescribed surgery for my broken Achilles tendon. However, Dr.Steinlauf suggested a treatment that without surgery worked very well for me. Great doctor with great knowledge and integrity. Highly recommend him!
