Dr. Steven Stecker, MD

Excellent, caring physician. I have seen him for many years. Willing to spend time with you when needed. Had my right hip replaced with no issues. Very reasonable regarding trying therapies and not immediately jumping to surgery. I have had no billing issues or other issues with the clerical staff.

My daughter was under his care for a knee injury sustained during a soccer tournament. He was never completely sure of the diagnosis from the beginning, performed a knee arthroscopy and still was undecided as to what the medical issue was....even after several post-surgical follow up visits. He did not and, apparently, could not properly diagnose and treat this sports injury. Dr. Stecker left her in constant pain with a diminished lifestyle. I do not have confidence in him as a doctor and if, as an athlete, you feel that you want to seek a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th opinion then I urge you to do so. What is obvious to me is that Dr. Stecker appears to be very focused on collecting the small balance due him. I wish he had displayed the same degree of determination in resolving my daughter's injury. When a doctor cares more about the balance due him and is not concerned with the fact that he failed to achieve results then there's not a lot left to be said.

He saw my mother in saint clares for a left broken ankle didnt even put her under any pain sedation and napple her ankle then put her rehab for 2 two months then saw her outpatient for 6 months then then office staff suddenly denial that he takes her insurance and she wanted to see a different surgeon months ago and they didnt let her now this morally and legally unethical dont go to this orthopedic surgeon

Saw Dr.Stecker yesterday for a shoulder issue. Thorough, informative. Within 24 hours, almost pain free! Glad I went to this group!

I meet with Dr Stecker in February we started PT and I keep complaining about upper pain .- I throw my arm out in march . Between February and March couldn't fit me in !! Finally when I could get a appointment , he scheduled my surgery. Not compassionate about at all .... Mid April I had my surgery, didn't see me before I left the hospital,had a appointment 3 days later ( in a lot of pain ) 3 weeks still pain can't get appointment for another week ! Lol told if pain is bad go to the E.R !

This Doctor is the best. I had my knees replaced and he did a great job and I am so happy.

Excellent doctor / surgeon who takes the time to explain and looks for solutions prior to rushing to a surgery recommendation.
