I appreciated Dr. Spandorfer’s calm and confident demeanor. He was able to work with me and my partner despite our busy schedules. He was able to put me at ease about going through IVF. His office was really impressive in coordinating appointments and making the process smoother than any other doctor’s office I’ve been in and I’m a health care professional.

So grateful. Dr. Spandorfer performed my emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. His skill and experience, but also his kindness and humor, eased this tragic crisis for myself and my family.

Dr. Spandorfer was amazing to work with throughout our fertility journey. He always helped us understand all of our options and I am so glad I trusted his opinions as we had a successful first retrieval and transfer. He approaches every conversation with the right amount of humor and humility and it was much appreciated. The office staff and nurses at Cornell are all incredible. They are so kind and helpful & make everything so seamless during such a challenging, stressful time. Dr. Spandorfer is present during his visits. There are times when it feels like the physician is all about the task at hand or solving your problem. He comes across as genuinely being about you. As a result, I walked away feeling heard and with a practical plan. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Spandorfer is an excellent listener and is very on top of all the details that must be attended to with IVF or fertility issues. He is intuitive and makes suggestions without telling you what to do outright. He has a comforting way about him and a nice sense of humor.

Dr Spandorfer has been a straightforward and helpful doctor. The practice is very busy, which may be intimidating to some patients and those new to the IVF process, but I have been happy to report that he has always been supportive and straight to the point with me. IVF in general can be a lot for someone to learn so I think a new patient should ask if/how to come up to speed. I found the medication review call useful

I am happy with my decision to go with Dr. Spandorfer and would recommend him to friends and family. Felt that he applied his extensive experience in devising a strategic approach to enable a successful cycle. He tailored my approach based on my own personal situation and past results. I also followed all his recommendations and requirements. I recommend setting up separate and dedicated Q&A appointments with him, as needed, as it can challenging to cover all in monitoring appointments. Keep a running list of questions handy. Felt he made an effort to attend the key monitoring appointments at the beginning and at key stages towards the end. Nursing staff is also very organized, which helps a lot. Felt I was in good hands. On my own: Took vitamin supplements with his clearance at various key stages. Weekly Accupuncture with fertility specialist cleared with doctor. Modified diet with more leafy greens, salmon, colorful natural foods for antioxidants.

Dr. Spandorfer is great. I’ve been seeing him for years, most recently over the course of the past year, and I have the utmost confidence in his expertise. The office is always on time, efficient, and everything is communicated thoroughly and effectively.

He has taken the time to call me directly with answers to important questions rather than just sending an admin person to call me. I'm a doctor myself and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking fertility treatment. Patients should also do some research themselves. He has a process that works. And the whole staff and team of docs are great. They have high volume and have great results, you can't argue with that.

I have had a great experience with him thus far. I have gone through 1 round of IVF and unfortunately it was unsuccessful but plan on continuing with another round. I had multiple visits at this office sometimes multiple times a week and I only saw another physician 2 times out of all these visits. The rest were with Dr. Spandorfer even when it wasn't his turn to do all the morning ultrasounds. My husband immediately liked him. He can be joking and serious. He was personal and informative.
