Terrible billing
I've been having problems with Dr. Silverman and the way he codes my visits since I became a patient a couple of years ago. He codes it as a specialist when I'm there for a checkup. Talking to his billing department is very frustrating. After getting a $50 bill from them I called to tell them I paid the copay, they said he billed it as a specialist. After a lot of phone calls they said they would get back to me but never did. I thought they figured out their mistake. They did not. They sent a $50 bill to a collection agency. I wanted to let everyone know before they choose Dr. Steven Silverman to be aware of his practices...

Dr was ok but the anesthesiologist was very mean. I told him I felt like I was fainting after he inserted the iv and asked him for an ice pack and he told me no. Next thing I knew he was injecting me with anesthesia putting me to sleep would never come back here

He inspires confidence. The office however did not. Bad day there.. no phones no internet no air conditioning. The anesthesiologist was strange. First of all I was being put out for both a colonoscopy and endoscopy. He insisted on numbing my throat which entailed jamming a tongue depressor down my throat then jamming this lidocaine type of medication in the back of my throat. It's been nearly 12 hours since my procedure and I still have a sore throat. My guess is billing. Stay tuned.
