Ten years of superior treatment.
Dr. Salinger listens closely and recommends the treatment that best fits my needs. Over the years, I rely on him to diagnose with accuracy and provide follow up where indicated. I am very happy and feel healthy under his care. He is friendly, approachable and in my opinion, irreplaceable.

Worst doctor I have been to.
Thinks he is better than you. Extremely arrogant, no compassion at all.

I was ten min late for Dr Salanger appointment. Im just starting to feel better and he wont see me or write another prescriptions. I have congestive heart failure . I thought Doctor s were supposed to help sick people not turn them away in there time of need. Dr Fred Sally would never have treated his clients this harshly. Disappointed they just blew me off nice new building guess patients in need don't matter anymore!

Dr. Salinger’s negligence and pride got in the way of my liver disease diagnosis which could have been treated a lot easier when I first showed symptoms 3 years ago. Now, three years later my family and I have to deal with the horrible diagnosis of auto immune Hepatitis –stage 3 fibrosis.while he is going on with life, my family and I are suffering everyday for his negliegence. Don't bother reaching out to the Scripps patient relations because they don't care. I doubt it if he even got a slap on the Hand! If you have an option to choose another primary care doctor , do so, or can pay for that choice with your health.

I was one of Dr. Salinger’s first patients. I was with him for about 25 years and I miss him dearly. He is one of the FEW doctors that listened, gave the right medications and along with his highly trained staff, made you feel like you were important and that he valued you. This is the best, look no further, you will love him.

Not a good experience. I went in very sick, he told me I had allergies without examining me at all, and the next day an ENT cultured my nasal passages and discovered Haemophilous Influenza Bacteria that causes encephalitis.

I have been a patient of his for over 10 years. He has been the epitome of a family doctor. Professional, polite, and truly concerned about my health. I feel very fortunate he is my doctor.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Salinger?
This is the first post I've ever made. Dr. Salinger misdiagnosed a serious medical condition, and was unaware the tests he ordered were very likely unreliable. He was resistant to ordering reliable tests which when finally ordered revealed the misdiagnosis. Dr S declined a call to discuss orig diag, so we waited for an appt, where he insisted he was correct, non communicative and curt. His handling added significant emotional distress to a difficult situation. We definitely do not recom this Dr.
