Thoughtful Surgeon
I went to another vascular surgeon before I went to see Dr. Rimer and I have to say "good thing for second opinions." I went to the appointment with my parents and he was very understanding to the seriousness of my condition but also my worrisome thoughts I felt coming into the appointment. I could tell he reviewed all the paperwork, CD, and information that was sent to him before my appointment. He was thoughtful, understanding, kind, friendly, and made me feel like I had a voice. It's important to feel this way especially when you're seeing a specialist. I would recommend seeing Dr. Rimer first. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Rimar is the best Dr. I've ever had. The bypass work he had done on me is amazing. He was extremely attentive when I was in the hospital as well. He also has a fantastic and efficient staff with extra stars going out to Jodie. She guided me through everything. Thank you Dr. Rimar and staff ?

Dr. Rimar is one of the most incredible doctor's who I have ever known! I had to have both of my lower legs amputated 4 years apart because of a nerve disorder in both of my legs. Dr. Rimar did such a fantastic surgery on my legs that I was very easy to place into Prosthetic Legs once the swelling went away! Dr. Rimar truly is the greatest surgical doctor I have ever been involved with and if you want the very best Vascular surgeon in Michigan, then I suggest you call his office immediately! A+

Very good vascular surgeon. I will highly recommend to friends. My only issues is not with Dr.Rimar but her staff named Joodee. She doesn't follow up on her promise to call you back. You have to call her several times to talk to her and get some results. She is very nice when you talk to her., only wish she writes down everything that she needed to get done.

Dr. Rimar was not interested to listen. He was in a great hurry. I tried asking questions, but he was not willing to answer these questions in a greater detail. His response was quick and hurried. As a result, I didn’t learn much about my condition, which was frustrating. I am not sure what the reason was, but it could be the fact that there were a lot patients waiting to be seen that day. I definitely wasted my time coming into this office.
