I met him for the first time today and was very impressed with the time he took to explain my health issues. He is proactive to get tests to determine the best route to go. I have never had a doctor take so much time to give me the answers to my questions. Very pleasant person, too!

Dr. Richards performed my total hysterectomy with salpingo-oophorectomy so I kept only my ovaries. The surgery was laparoscopic. I had a history of fibroids and had extremely heavy periods. I originally considered less drastic options, but after a conversation with Dr. Richards, he recommended that the hysterectomy would be the most permanent option considering I was not planning any future pregnancies. He said that an ablation or IUD could provide some relief, but would cause me to need to explore other options down the road. My surgery went extremely well and I had almost no paid after. I was back to work in just over 2 weeks. Dr. Richards was so helpful to me with my questions and he took time to be sure I was comfortable with everything. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering this surgery.

100% recomended! He delivered both of my children. The first one had no complications and he always spent time with me answering all my first time mom questions. With my second child, we had many complications with my BP and the babies growth. He was there every step of the way including the emergency inducement. He even delivered my son on his night off-Halloween! I cannot explain how thankful we are for his expertise, knowledge, professionalism, and caring heart.

4 babies delivered, 2 surgeries, 20+ years as a patient. Dr. Richards is an amazing surgeon who is totally dedicated to the best interest of his patients. I have gone from a young mom in the waiting room to one of those "old" ladies who just has to show up occasionally now! Thanks Dr. Richards for all your years of great care.

I really love the fact that they are all very nice people that work here, and they are all caring. It's a clean facility, you don't have to wait for a long periods of time. Dr. Richards started seeing me when I had complications, and he was very thorough in his explanation of what I was going through. When it came down to it and I needed surgery, and emergency surgery on top of it he kept me alive, and he kept my family informed about my situation and what to expect. I highly recommend!

I became pregnant and chose this practice for the convince of the equipment in the office. After a couple of visits with Dr. Richards I could tell that he does not care or listens to his patients. I talked to a friend in the healthcare business who confirmed my feelings when she said he has a reputation for a terrible bedside manner. A year after having a baby, I needed surgery. He did not even stick around to tell my husband how it went. I tried to switch but their practice forbids switching

Recently had a hysterectomy surgery by Dr Richards and was very impressed with his experience, skill and explanations of the procedure and genuine attention to my issues and concerns. He was just as considerate and kind at my post - surgery follow up appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Richards to others.
