Horrible, awful, disappointing! I will never ever ever see this man again he is the worst doctor on earth! I went to him in severe pain. He asked me what is it I want from him? I said I just want to feel better! His response was well everybody wants to feel better. He told me my pain may be from cancer he refused to do an MRI to investigate my pain! Mentioned something about prescription ibuprofen left RX with nurse and never came back in the room. I was so shocked and distraught and in so much pain I started to call my chiropractor from the office room. This man should not be a doctor. Come to find out I had a pinched nerve in my neck no thanks to you I am finally seeing some improvement after seven days of debilitating pain.

he has a wonderful bedside manner he tells it like it is I think he has a wonderful personality always very upbeat he listens to what I have to say and my concerns

My mother had hip replacement surgery with Dr. Potaczek in 2016. He told us that the surgery took longer than expected because he didn't examine her naked and didn't realize until during surgery that one of her legs was smaller than the other. He said he had to take a tool out and put a different size in. My mother woke up from surgery unable to move her foot. He NEVER treated her for "foot drop" while she spent 30 days in a nursing home for treatment. She has permanent nerve damage and disable

He was horrible with our daughter. We will never go back. The staff is fine; he is not. I wouldn't even write a review except a friend is looking for an orthopedist, and I want her to steer clear of this man.

I have been seeing Dr Potaczek for about 10 years. He did shoulder decompression on both shoulders and carpal tunnel surgery on my left wrist. I wouldn't trust any other Dr. And he will always be my go-to for any orthopedic issues.

I was under the care of a surgeon at Great Plains in Peoria and I drove to Galesburg to Dr. Potaczek for a second opinion as to surgery. I was so impressed with Dr. Potaczek, I will transfer my records and care to him. He is plain spoken and very knowledgeable. He explained options to surgery so it could be put off. He took his time to insure I understood what he was telling me about my shoulder. Even though Galesburg is over an hours drive for me, it is worth it to get his care.

Within six weeks of surgery, I was riding my bicycle 20-30 miles per week, within 12 weeks, I was lifting weights 3-4 times per week and for the first time in years, was able to fully enjoy the full benefit of a health club membership. I give Dr. Potacek TWO THUMBS UP!
