I wasted two months on an unprofessional doctor.
The entire experience was extremely unprofessional. It took an act of Congress after my Doctor referred me to this department, for me to get an appointment. Then a couple of months ago I had an appointment with Dr Porter’s NP. She agreed with my GP that I required surgery. Then I received an appointment to meet the surgeon and a week later I’m at the hospital. I was told to check in at 10AM, which I did. I checked myself out a few minutes ago. It’s been 19 hours since my last medication and my neuropathy is on fire. As I sit on a bench in front of the hospital, it’s been 7 hours since they required me to be here, but no surgery or even an idea from my nurse as to when they might operate on me. I haven’t had anything to eat or drink in 17 hours and I wasn’t allowed my regular medications during that time. You can try your luck with him but it was hard to understand him when he talked and he seemed to be repeating a speech that he had memorized and recited hundreds of times.

Dr Porter fixed my left knee - tears on the meniscus. I had had surgery on the same knee more than a year ago but my pain continued. As soon as I woke up and was able to stand. The pain was completely gone!! He is an amazing surgeon and I would highly recommend him and his professional staff. Thank you Dr. Porter!!!

. Didn't even come out and talk to my husband after surgery. In hospital 4 days and did not see him once. He called to see if I was rating and how I was doing. I wasn't eating but head nurse told him I ate 85% of my meals. I did not get up enough and ended up with bed sores on my butt and back. Nurses never changed my sheets the whole time I was in the hospital, not even straighten them up. Two years after having total knee replacement from him I had to have 2 more surgeries to repair knee.
