Disappointment
Dr. Patterson did a good technical job with surgery, but his relational skills are lacking. He kept me waiting nearly 2 hours for both my visits then rushed our appointments without asking me for questions. To make things worse, his support staff at Lakeland Surgical Clinic is a massive disappointment. The triage nurse was rude and disrespectful. After my surgery, I had complications with my incision and worsening pain. I spent an entire week trying to get ahold of them for help, and each time, I was either reassured “they didn’t forget about me” or I was ignored completely. Pathetic excuse for healthcare. Do not waste your time with this group of people.

Dr. Patterson performed a laparoscopic hernia repair on me on a Thursday and I was back to work on Monday without any pain. Being a surgeon myself, I sought out him because he performs the latest techniques and is very skilled at these minimally invasive approaches. Besides that, he’s very nice and personable and his team is the same. I highly recommend Dr. Patterson and I refer my patients to him whenever they need surgical procedures.
