Like to tell patients they have anxiety
Strays from Family Practice and seems to like to diagnose anxiety--easier than listenting to patients. Indifferent and meachnical doctor. Does not listen. Simply not very good.

Condescending Doctor, does not read records.
Telehealth
Dr. Overn was my primary care doctor for 3 years. Overtime I noticed that his statements and and questions were mechanical and he took little time to actual review my records. Only after I visited another doctor did I realize that he was extremely lazy because the other Doctor clearly got up to speed on my records in 10 minutes vs. Overn who never looked at them. He is arrogant and condescending and said my explanations of a blood pressure episode were 'not adding up' and 'fishy.' There are better doctors out there. I recommend you pass on Overn.

Shouldn’t be practicing medicine
Worst dr experience - do NOT send your loved ones here. My mom visited after a hospital stay to get medications filled. He asked her why she needed anti anxiety medication. She said because she’s a recent widow, recent hip surgery recovery, among just life itself. He told her that he has experienced several deaths in his family and has never needed medication to get him through it. I don’t know how he can still be practicing medicine. Asking for mental health help is difficult and people like him just make it worse. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before sending her to this horrendous place they say they practice medicine at. It’s a disgrace.

Please stay away. I went for routine preventive care which is supposed to be fully covered by my insurance company, United Health Care. The doctor's office did additional tests because they feel that should be part of routine preventive care, irrespective of whether the insurance company company covers it or not. As a result of those tests, which I did not need at all, I have been billed additional amount that I need to pay from my pocket. Is this fair?

He might be a good doctor but his receptionist and nurses are really stupid and careless. They refused to see me because they thought I needed to go to an emergency room even though all I needed was for the doctor to check my upset stomach. Obviously if I'm that sick to the point that I need help right away I would go to the emergency room myself I'm not stupid. They are not the doctor so how should they know what I need? I will never go there and tell everyone not to go there

Dr Overn placed information in my medical Records that is untrue. He wanted to see me in his office constantly so he could bill my insurance but these visits would consist entirely of dialogue that could have taken place over the phone. He refused to write prescriptions for pain meds when every medical indicator of pain was present. He labeled me a drug seeker and banned me from his practice, accused me of using illegal drugs with no proof. Made several incorrect diagnoses.

I would recommend Dr. Overn to anyone. He was very patient, kind and a great listener. He heard me and really took the time with me. His Nurse Gina was wonderful too. Everyone made me feel welcomed, even the Office staff upfront and the Office Manager Teresa. If you want a Doctor that will truly listen to you and someone that cares about your wellbeing than Dr. Overn's office is the place to go.

I would highly recommend Dr. Overn to all of my family and friends and anyone looking for a caring, conscientious, and highly intelligent doc. He thinks outside the box and explores all aspects of health care... He takes time to talk to you and get to know you and genuinely cares about helping. There's no one else I would trust to take care of me, my husband, or our kids!!!
