Dr. Newman administered my anesthesia during a colonoscopy today at Dr. Barkin’s office in Alexandria. He was such a kind and caring man who put me at ease immediately. Carefully explained all the steps of the procedure and made me feel like I was in good hands. In this day and age it is nice to encounter a doctor who sees you as a person and interacts so thoughtfully with you. Thank you so much!

Dr. Newman was my anesthesiologist for a colonoscopy I had this very day. I am 56 years of age and have never, since I was a child, encountered a physician with a more caring, warm and wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Newman went above and beyond the call of duty at putting me at ease before administering the IV. He described precisely what he'd be doing, reminding me he'd be right there by my side in the (highly unlikely) event that something went wrong during the procedure. Steve is the BEST!
