Dr. Steven Mueth, MD

Our son had a cough for months. We kept going back and he kept saying chronic cough. Finally he sent us to a specialist who told us that it turned to asthma from waiting so long. Being emotional parents, we asked to see another doctor in the practice moving forward but soon after sent a message apologizing that it was a lot to take in and that we understood people can’t always get things right. He just pushed us to the office manager who told us to find a new practice. What kind of doctor does that? Especially one who apparently focuses on asthma management, but won’t own up to the fact that we should have tried other things sooner. I’ve seen other reviews about “trust” and he clearly gets emotionally himself if you question him. We have friends that go to the same practice and every single one sees a different doctor. The practice seemed to be fine, but I would avoid Dr. Mueth.

Both our son and daughter see Dr. Mueth. We switched our daughter’s original pediatric care to Dr. Mueth for ironically, many of the reasons you find in the negative reviews here (which we, as 10yr+ clients, can’t fathom are close to true). He is a first class pediatrician, wonderful with children, and talks TO us not AT us. We’ve recommended his practice to many friends & peers.

Dr. Mueth does not listen to the parents of his patients, and belittles them if he thinks their concerns are silly. He talks AT you, not TO you. He doesn't do much in the way of helping his patients if they're sick, or helping calm the fears of a mom. He spends more time judging parents for their parenting decisions than he does in regards to actual medical issues. We've since switched to a different office and are so much happier.

We've been very happy with Dr. Mueth. He runs on time and is very compassionate. It's always been very easy to make appointments and get prescriptions refilled. If I have a question, it's answered that day.

Incompetent. Uncompassionate. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS DOCTOR.

I feel rushed by him. I've been cut off while asking questions and my questions always seem to irritate him. Yesterday was the last time he will see one of my children. His response to me asking a question, because I didn't understand, was "Well, you've never trusted us anyway." NOT a professional response especially since I've trusted him with my children for 3 years. I took my son to an urgent care afterwards...they had NO problem answering my questions and concerns.

Dr. Meuth has been caring for our two children (12 and 10) since they were born. He has been the most professional and caring Pediatrician we could ever ask for. We have had some challenges with our children's health over the years. He always takes the time to sit with us for however long it takes to make sure are children are given adequate care and our concerns are addressed. Matthew and Jennifer L
