Surgeon who did not do the surgery
Dr. Morgan did not talk to me on the day of spine surgery - not before, nor after. The MUSC trainee, unknown to me before the surgery day, did the surgery, instead of Morgan. Doctor never discussed with me, that he will not do the surgery, but his assignee. I'm not happy with the results, and the service. His nurse practitional Lavassar was late about 1 hr for appointmen, she did not show interest to my ilness and surgery history in my file, and she was rude.

Yes I would recommend him to anyone. He put rods in my back December of 2017. Excellent doctor, excellent surgeon! Steve a Hedgpeth. I wish he were still here in Lynchburg ,Virginia .

Dr. Morgan did a great job of explaining my issue and proposed treatment. When I hesitated to have anything done, despite the fact that the pain was getting worse, he personally called me and helped me get over the fear of surgery. My surgery went fine and I am pain free two years later. I have recommended him to two friends and they have also had success with him. I was upset to hear that he is leaving Texas Spine Team but know he will do well for others in a new locale.
