Dr. Steven Kappler, MD

Dr. Kappler is by far the most caring, patient and experienced doctor I have ever been to! He takes the time for each and every one of his patients and makes you feel at ease. Highly recommended and If I could, I would give him a 10 star rating!

I don’t know where to begin. I had colon cancer 14 years ago. Subsequently I have had colonoscopies every year, sometimes twice a year. Last year my former GI Dr wanted to have my colon removed due to a non-cancerous mass. My wife and I fell into Dr Kappler. He agreed to see me immediately. He felt I had been misdiagnosed with UC when it appeared as Crohns. He did a scope on me to set his own baseline, sent me for a slew of tests including a genetic panel. He then prescribed me to a biological. Through Clev Clinic app, he has remained in contact with me even for the silliest question. He recently did a follow-up scope on me - the mass was no longer there. I believe he was happier than my family. He is wonderful, thorough, professional, and empathic. A consummate and unique gentleman. I thanked him for his path in life. He truly brought me to a quality of life I didn’t know I would have ever had. He’s a mensch!

I never had a visit becauseTo be honest, I cannot say a word about Dr. Keppler. I don't even know if he will see this review. I heard good things about hime and was anxious to see him since I have a GI problem and have been hospitalizes for it over the years.. I waited months or an appointment which I finally had a July 18, 2022. On July 7th I received a call stating he would not be there that day and they could give me an appointment on May 1, 2023 - almost a year later. Her response when I told her I had a problem was "sorry" and "find another doctor." I have been in the medical field my whole and the past 20 years worked for a world renown foot and ankle surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery so I definitely understand rescheduling and appointments if something comes up - HOWEVER, THE PATIENT OR PATIENTS I HAD TO RESCHEDULE WERE SEEN IN NO LONGER THAN ONE MONTH. I do not know how this office works or if Dr. Keppler even sees these reviews. He was highly recommended and

By FAR......... Dr. Kappler is the greatest Dr. I can say that I have EVER been to. He is VERY informational, VERY patient, VERY explanatory, VERY intelligent, I could go on and on. He has a fantastic bedside manner amongst many other attributes. He is not one that has to rush and rush and he ALWAYS makes sure he has time for you. I couldn't recommend any other Gastro if I wanted to. He is truly the best. Might I add, he goes out of his way for his patients on a professional level, which you DO NOT see very often or at all. His staff (Lisa is whom I have dealings with) is just as exceptional.

I have seen a couple Gastrologist In this area. Dr. Keppler is SUPERIOR to anyone I’ve seen,his personality is awesome. He is compassionate and competent. He listens and answers your questions. You don’t feel rushed! He knows his profession well and he is very respectful!! I highly recommend him. Elisa, his Nurse is marvelous she makes you feel comfortable. She’s very caring and pleasant speaking.

Dr Kappler is the best , he has helped me so much. He takes time and treats you so profecionel . He is an excellent doctor, he listens and explain my condition the best he can . He is never in a rush and so down to earth . I wish there were more doctors like him.

I saw Dr. Kappler today for a problem I was having with GERDs. He was so caring and attentive and took almost a half hour with me answering every question I had. He truly seemed interested and concerned about my health. I am so glad I chose him, largely based on the comments from Healthgrades. It would be great if every doctor approached the practice of medicine like Dr. Kappler does. My highest recommendation!

Over my lifetime I have seen dozens of doctors and surgeons and I must say Dr. Kappler is the best one I have found. Everything you read about him on Healthgrades is true. He is truly exceptional. I met him for the first time minutes before my colonoscopy and he was so friendly and reassuring. The procedure went perfectly with no complications. Dr. Kappler is one in a million.

Dr. Kappler is by far the best GI you’ll find in Florida. He’s Boston trained, has the best bedside manner and very intelligent. When you have a problem he makes you feel comfortable and not concerned about it. He’s caring and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr Kappler.

Dr. Kappler was very personable. He spent a lot of time explaining the next steps in my treatment plan. He answered all of my questions. He seemed to be genuinely invested in me getting better. I am so grateful for his help.

Dr. Kapolei is a compassionate and competent physician. My husband hand an EGG and colonoscopy at Tradition Hospital,and he was excellent,and so was everyone at the outpatient department. We highly recommend him.
