STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR! He was supposed to perform a cricopharyngeal myotomy on my father, but something went very wrong. Immediately after the surgery, my dad complained of new swallowing issues and developed GI issues he'd never had before. A doctor at NW Hospital diagnosed him with gastroparesis and fibromyalgia, and concluded they were a result of injury to his vagal nerve during Horwitz's surgery. IMO, Horwitz is unqualified and should never be allowed to operate on anyone again
