Dr. Herzog is amazing.
If you’re going for a great doctor, this is your place. The set-up of the clinic is not user friendly whatsoever, so it’s a good thing he rocks at his job. I felt very heard and rescued from the cluster headache I’ve been experiencing for 3 weeks now. In fact, I didn’t know that’s what I had! He saved me . Tavia was amazing as well. I highly recommend.

Cannot get reach a human despite numerous efforts
The doctor seemed fine, but the office needs work in terms of communication. I had a brain MRI there which (after quite a delay in starting) went smoothly. But, despite numerous calls and voice mail messages, I cannot reach anyone about the results. It is unnerving. The portal is not an option for me.

P.A. only interested in selling gadgets
Dr. Herzog used to be great. Now only his P.A. is available and the last time I was there, he was only interested in selling gadgets for migraines, not me or my issue. I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Herzog and was told he could only pop in but the P.A. would be the one who would treat me. Some P.A.s are good but, in general, why pay for a doctor if you're getting less?

I loved him, I didn’t even know I had chronic migraines because I had been dulling and ignoring my constant headache for years. Dr. Herzog went through a treatment plan and ordered an MRI and an MRA and we discovered I have neuromuscular dysplasia of the right carotid, it’s not a big deal but it’s something I would never had known if he hadn’t been so thorough. I live the NP as well, Barrett Horton he has been super amazing and so easy to reach and talk to, they are all so nice at Texas Neurology and I love the new facility. Highly recommend this place.

The office never answers phone calls! Not the main line, not the nurses line, literally no one. I called the main line 6 times over 2 hours and not once did I speak to anyone. Wow. The excuse the nurse gave me when I asked is that there is only one phone line for all the doctors and business etc. What an absolute horrible way to run a business and show patients you could care less. It’s just an injection factory where no one seems to actually care to respond when you have a question or need to schedule an appointment.

Dr Herzog is the most wonderful migraine doctor. He is very compassionate, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. He truly understands pain and has a desire to help you find a path of treatment that can provide the most relief and, provide you with a better quality of life. Works well with my other doctors, and understands all of my medicines, not just the ones he prescribes. He has changed my life, and I really don’t know where I would be without him.

I've seen numerous neurologists for a vestibular migraine disorder that I've suffered from every day for 6 years. Most doctors do one test, report inconclusive findings and send me on my way. Dr. Herzog was patient with me as I reported my history and came up with multiple ideas about a path forward, giving me hope that I've needed that it's possible to eventually get relief. I appreciate his deep thinking to explore options that no other doctor has considered.

Dr. Herzog was very professional. Answered all questions clearly and explained the details of my headache and possible treatment alternatives. Provided a recommended treatment plan and explained possible alternatives if this plan did not work. This is my second time with Dr. Herzog. He solved a previous severe headache problem I had seven years ago that several other doctors and specialists were not able to do, even after recommended surgeries. Dr. Herzog cured my condition. Great Doctor.

Dr. Hertzog listened to me and heard what I had to say. He saw how much pain I was in during the visit and addressed the pain immediately. I was in his office in excess of two and a half hours. He was trying, and successfully managed, to keep me from having to go to the hospital bc of intensity the pain. I left his office with a clear plan and in much less pain. He spoke to my husband and included him during the entire process. Forever grateful for Dr. Hertzog his time and expertise.

My wife has one visit with Dr. Herzog. We found him to be very down to earth and caring. He listened to my wife's headache history and formulated a care plan. He helped to reduce the cost of medication as well as a gamma care device. He also was instrumental in obtaining orders and insurance approval for MRAs of the neck and head. We are very hopeful that Dr. Herzog will reduce my wife's headache pain.

Dr. Herzog has been an excellent and reassuring addition to my medical team. In a few short weeks, I’ve gone from zero doctors and excellent health to an unknown issue. Each time I am there, he has been patient, open, and explains things in laymen’s terms. He includes my husband in each conversation, and takes as much time as we need to be comfortable. He doesn’t jump to a solution, but methodically goes thru everything. So pleased to have been referred to him.

I recently saw Dr. Hertzog after going to many Dr's over that past 45 yrs. I have had chronic migraines since I was 8. He listened, was patient and answered all questions. He didn't push botox, he didn't push certain drugs. I was prepared and he knew it. People who give negative feedback want a miracle. He knows the most current stuff and we together came up with plan A and plan B. Who knows if it will work, its the brain and there is much unknown. I'm grateful for him.

Dr. Herzog is not a helpful doctor. He barely spent time with me and immediately pushed Botox for my daily chronic migraine. I did not feel comforted one bit. I will say the girl who administers that Botox is a sweetheart. I just don't believe the stuff truly works, and I didn't feel like I was given proper diagnosis. I have chronic migraine and Anxiety. I felt as though he completely ignored the fact that I have anxiety. Most things he prescribed had bad side effects (methyprednisone, prodrin)

I really liked Dr Herzog, on the first visit but Only the assts. for my my shots and botox for head aches. . I have no real problem with Dr Herzog would like to see him more. . Getting into the clinic by phone, is almost impossible and takes several calls and long waiting on the phone , Just that makes it a pain to go to the clinic. Dr Herzog needs to get this fixed as he is a very good Dr.

Dr. Herzog was very rushed during my visit. He did not ask me a single question about my symptoms, and this was my initial visit with him. He was very focused on making his electronic notations in his computer and simply getting me out the door. He rattled out a pre-rehearsed long list of treatment options while stopping only to take a few quick deep breaths; like a tour guide who had given the tour over 1000 times. His bedside manner was so offensive that I started to cry during the visit.
