Condescending
I came to get an EKG regarding my medications I take ordered by my psychiatrist. He made several rude comments about the supposed ‘non necessity of me getting an EKG’ and couldn’t understand why my Dr ordered these tests. I explained several times the symptoms I was feeling, and Hersh was only focused on the fact that I had supposedly not lost weight since my acl surgery in 2018, which is a lie. He then continued to comment on my weight, telling me I need to make extreme changes to my lifestyle in order to no longer be obese. He even attached a “healthy lifestyle” information sheet to the end of my session notes, and this was after me telling him I go for walks everyday, and go to the gym regularly. He was not even concerned about the reason I had come to him in the first place, and I left extremely embarrassed and very uncomfortable. Just be warned!

A lot of issues
Post visit notes were not only wrong but made assumptions, would not consult with me over medication nor levels of medications, messed up the post visit notes, I called the office regarding his screwup and he changed the notes to what I asked and then added he found the error, a complete lie, maybe he was a good doctor in the past but he could barely open a pdf file, and now over perscribes meds. I would never go back to that place and that is to his bad notes am struggling to have those fixed. I had to screenshot everything because you cant trust that office or him.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Hersh?
I am 72 years old and work presently as a contractor. Dr. Hersh was my cardiologist since 2013. 2 years ago,he became angry at me. He started inserting sarcastic insulting remarks in his clinical notes. None of those remarks were included in the summary that I received. Dr. Hersh never revealed those remarks to me. Last October, my primary care physician read those notes. He e-mailed those notes to my agency. My agency cancelled 2 months of assignments, costing me thousands of dollars.
