SATISFIED New Patient
I felt like I was his patient for years. Gave him a description of what I’m feeling and what I am. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff.

If I could give this man zero stars, I certainly would. After almost 20 years as my doctor, I can no longer accept the mediocrity that is Dr. Frank. He is impersonal, rude, short with his patients/staff and has a general disregard for most everything that has to do with being a physician. I have never met a doctor who shows such little concern for his patients. I was in a motorcycle accident and spent well over a year in a wheelchair, lost my leg and have had well over a dozen surgeries in the last 2 years. Dr. Frank, a man who has known me since I was a small child, has shown absolutely zero concern and has minimized my accident and injuries almost every time I have been in front of him. His biggest concern has been with my mother and the fact that she left his practice years ago, leaving him with bad reviews (warranted) along the way. Now I completely understand why. He actually comments on it during every single one of my appointments, as if I had anything to do with it. He is completely impersonal and scorned. You can’t have a conversation with him, he will over talk you every time. He has no compassion or care, it’s like speaking with a fast talking wall. He is ready to dismiss every single concern brought to him, simply because he doesn’t want to deal with it. I have received tender and compassionate care from every medical professional I’ve come across in the past 3 years post accident…except for my own PCP, who has had the absolute most minute role in my recovery, yet has provided the biggest obstacle. I’ll never understand why. Dr. Frank won’t help you with the simplest of asks, especially if you need them. I now spend half my life in a wheelchair/resting from pain and discomfort. Yet Dr. Frank does absolutely zero to help me. His only concern through every single appointment has been my pain medicine, not the pain I’ve been in. He has minimized my injuries and my lasting pain and discomfort far too many times. I have brought many concerns forth to him in which he says things like “I’m talking about your stump,” (in reference to my amputation site.) He doesn’t believe the permanent hardware in my surgically repaired pelvis, or the full dislocation at my knee and it’s 5 subsequent reconstructive surgeries, or my severely broken arm and hand I suffered warrant any attention, or might cause me substantial pain. It’s hard to have gone through such an extensive trauma and to have the smallest part of my care team minimize my injuries to such a degree. He has made me feel like a drug seeker for an injury I never asked for and for years of recovery I wish I never had to partake in. But Dr. Frank has never given me enough time in a day to express these feelings. I have let him do what he wants with my care, simply because I no longer have the energy to debate with him. My final straw is that I recently asked him to fill out a jury duty exemption for my disability. He refused based on the grounds that I can walk and drive. I haven’t even been walking for a full year, so to garner such a response from a medical professional is beyond troubling. It almost seems like he operates out of spite. I have been in a prosthetic for about 8 months in total and cannot carry on a normal life by any means, yet Dr. Frank could care less. Instead he makes ignorant comments like “If you can drive, you can sit in jury duty.” Completely ignoring the fact that I go days and weeks without driving because of the pain I endure. The state recognizes me as handicapped, yet Dr. Frank doesn’t. Today is my last day as a patient at Rehoboth Seekonk Medical Center, and I greatly urge any patients looking for a new PCP to look elsewhere

Do NOT Recommend
If you are looking for a PCP, do not go with Dr. Frank. If your PCP is out of the office and Dr. Frank is the on-call doctor, go somewhere else. I went to him and he was in and out within five minutes. I was feeling terrible, said it was something viral and left. Three days later I had to go to a urgent care facility and I had an ear infection and sinusitis. Additionally, Dr. Frank was supposed to refill my monthly prescriptions, he never did that either. Now I'm required to go in AGAIN and pay for another visit to see my normal PCP for the refills. He should have his license taken away.

Dr Frank should be removed from the medical board for pure incompetence as a physician. He was my PCP for a long time (always thought it would get better) and every time I had an issue, he would downplay it as a non issue and say "you're perfectly healthy" and only after I begged would he give me a referral to a specialist, but never actually tried to figure out the issue on his own. A relative of mine was in severe back pain and after imaging tests it was revealed he had two herniated discs and Dr Frank said he needs to learn "pain management" through chiropractor and rest. Two herniated discs require surgery! not simple pain management. Long story short, he went elsewhere, had surgery to correct the herniated discs and is significantly better now. If you are looking for a PCP that will actually try to help you and figure out out what the issue is, look elsewhere as Dr Frank is beyond useless.

With everything going on with Covid, you would think a Dr’s office would try to help out with concerns a patient is having. I have had my physical cancelled on me twice, again understandable. On the second cancellation I voiced a concern I was having and wanted to try a medication to help me out, something I had planned on discussing with Dr on the visit that was just canceled. The response I received back that since I haven’t been seen in over a year I need to wait until I can get an appointment. The only available appointment I am able to get is 7 months out. So apparently my concern has to wait until it becomes a major problem. I was told if I wanted to address my concern sooner that I should go see someone else. I took that advice and I am Leaving practice. Would have been nice if I was even offered a telemedicine visit, would have taken less time and I would have had a resolution to concern.

Been going here for over 10 years and a majority of the time I feel when I leave I haven't been heard often leading me to go back a few times. When he's good he's great when he's not I feel like he's dismissive and I'm rushed through my appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr Frank's for years now. He has always been a good doctor, he takes the time to explain things and he listens to what you have to say. His staff goes above and beyond and they are very helpful and caring. You always get a live person to talk with, no recordings that go on and on. I would highly recommend Dr Frank.

My son needed a form signed to play sports. We never make untimely requests, we were out of town and unable to send the form to him. He refused to stamp the generic form the same day I faxed it to him. He also refused to return my call-told assistant to tell me it was not a medical emergency -therefore, he did not need to return my call regarding same. My son was upset that he could not participate at his first practice due to Dr. Frank's unwillingness to take one minute out of his busy day.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frank for the last 5 years. He is friendly and has always taken the time to listen to my concerns or even just chat about what is going on in my life. His staff is very nice and also willing to listen and offer help if needed and I have never experienced any problems with billings or service costs. I would happily recommend Dr. Frank!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Frank's office for years and for varying reasons we have all decided to move on. My reasons are that, even though, I am charged for a full office visit I always feel rushed while I am there. The office staff is friendly but the billing department makes a mistake in the coding EVERY time one of us goes to his office. I really don't have the time to call my insurance company and then his office each time they submit their claim to the insurance company.
