Dr. Steven Desautels, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Desautels for years. He has always been attentive, explained my condition offered care plan and followed up. My last visit on the 13th was stressful and difficult to explain to the doctor because I was embarrassed. He reviewed our previous discussions and offered me a referral to a specialist. I don’t know why I am experiencing these symptoms. I absolutely recommend Dr. Desautels, but my visit left me wondering why I came.. I fill discounted, perhaps he had a bad day Lynn M

I felt he really listen to what my issues were and moving forward help solve them.

Dr Desautels always spends enough time with me to listen to my concerns and to address all my questions.

Dr. Desautels spoke to me about 2 minutes before performing a EGD and not once after giving me a diagnosis I already knew and absolutely no follow up regarding my condition. I have no idea why he is apparently giving better care to everyone else here who has rated him well. He didn?t even study records from a previous visit to the ER and then wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment to give me the information he should have in the first place. He is not a good doctor and doesn?t care about his patients? (or at least my) well being. TERRIBLE!

Listened to me and answered all of my questions.

Great communication, always very concerned for you well being. He has been treating me for 15 years. I wouldn’t think of changing Gastroenterologists.

Dr Desautels and all his staff are always pleasant, skillful, and responsive. They listen!

After having trouble with other GI offices, I chose Dr Desautel. I’m a retired RN, so I know what I am talking about. Dr Desautel has a kind and professional bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The staff is also amazing. I was in and out of a scope in 90 minutes. Never had that before. Great communication, service, and follow up. I highly recommend him and Granite Peaks GI!

Staff was organized and ready. Short wait from scheduled time. My interaction with the doctor was brief but adequate. He didn’t seem hurried or rushed. All went well. Better experience than I expected

A very pleasant experience at Granite Peaks Endoscopy Center. The inital appointment call, pre-procedure follow ups, emails, front desk, nurses and assistants were fabulous. The escort out to my waiting husband in the parking lot made the visit a pleasure. Each member of the staff did an excellent job in explaining each journey of the procedure and it was "slick as a whistle". Dr. Desautels was very clear on the procedure itself. Thanks to everyone for making a dreaded 10 year examination a very pleasant experience. See you in 10 years!! Sandy D.

The team at Granite Peaks Gastroenterology are great. From the pre-procedure nurse(whose name I can’t remember) to Janelle and Dr Desautels plus my recovery nurse were all great. They respected my privacy. They answered any questions I had. They made my screening as easy as it could be. I appreciated their knowledge and expertise. I would highly recommend.

Just had my colonoscopy at Granite Peaks Gastroenterology The staff was amazing. I would totally recommend Dr. Steven Desautels. He took the time to explained the procedure & answered all of my questions. Afterwards, followed up with both my husband & myself with results. His staff followed up the following day to make sure I was doing Okay.
