Dr. Steven Cowan, DO

Dr Cowan, holds your prescriptions ransom if you don't go for in person visits. Although he states he has telehealth visits, he cancels them and then will state he will no longer see patients if they don't come into the office. He does not do labs at the office and only takes basic vitals, waste of time and money when telehealth is available. I am a type 2 diabetic of which was controlled with metformin, Dr. Cowan stopped my prescription without notice and will not reup it unless I agree to an in person visit. He also doesn't provide lab referrals until after an in person visit and then you need another appointment to go over results. Very unprofessional staff, especially Rebecca.

Our entire family is under the care of Dr. Cowan. We never feel rushed and he listens and asks all the right questions. I have been a patient for over 20 years and would highly recommend this doctor.

He takes the time to listen to my issues. He is very detailed and brings a holistic approach to my care. He incorporates a traditional medical model approach as well as lifestyle wellness , which is refreshing in todays world of medicine. He's the best.

Office staff does not return calls to patients in a timely manner

My family has been with Dr. Cowan for many years. He is a very caring doctor and I always feel well taken care with him. His follow up is excellent, as well as his staff. A good man.

I had a poor telemedicine experience with Dr. Cowan. He was unwilling to try to listen to me and made a point of misunderstanding my concerns. He also didn't order the testing I needed. I did not choose to talk to him I was assigned this doc on a random basis. I would never make an appointment with him. My regular doc was very surprised that the adequate testing was not ordered and somehow at Dr. Cowan's advice I never received the results of the test that was administered. Not recommended, especially if you identify as female. Of course I don't know how this doc treats men.

Dr. Cowan is an outstanding physician. Extremely knowledgeable!

Dr.Cowan,is one of the best internists I have encountered in my 52 years of life, He is very on top of my needs and has great compassion.,for patients, I highly recommend him for a primary care physician.

kind, caring, professional, acute in diagnosing conditions and genuine interest in his patients. you feel like a person and you never feel rushed. his practice is cozy and his staff are just as nice and professional as he is.

I have been in this office for sometime. And noticed that Dr. Cowan is not really willing to listen to you and your questions. It's his way most of the time or the highway for you.

I have recommened Dt. Cowan to several people 3 of which are now his patients.
